I get asked often, how chicks do when raised in the coop with the rest of the flock. Most of the time the mom does her best to inform everyone that her babies are family (flock mates) and they get worked into the flock at 4 to 5 weeks as if they were full grown.

Benny came to us last Summer from a high school kid who was given the task of raising her, in an apartment, during lockdown. So when she out grew her indoor house they asked if she could live with us. We said, "yes of course."
