Here’s a peek at the beginning stages of a very special project for us. Spectrum was recently asked by Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana to help bring a young man’s vision to life. This is going to be a one-of-a-kind treehouse and we can’t wait to share the final product. Lacey McWilliams Haas.

A great day of work with jobs going on in different areas today:

-In Old Metairie, we are replacing a customer’s shingle roof as well as a flat roof in the rear of their house.

-in Old Jefferson, we have just completed concrete prep work, passed the Jefferson Parish inspection this morning, and are now ready to pour concrete as part of an addition of a master bedroom/master bathroom. Framing will begin next week!

-In Covington, we are well underway with a renovation which follows a large Oak tree crashing through the customer’s roof several weeks back. The roof structure has been repaired, a new metal roof is about to be installed, exterior carpentry, new windows, and followed by sheet rock and painting to finish things up.

Catching up with some pics from a busy last 2 weeks….a nice mix of work that included:

-Shingle roofs in Metairie, Slidell, Lacombe, Marrero, Metairie, Luling, River Ridge, Mid-City, and Hammond.

-Also, a variety of flat and metal roofs, siding, fences, custom floating shelves, concrete pad and pergola (with metal roof to follow).

-We also completed over 15 smaller repairs at no cost. If you have reached out for assistance, please be patient and know that we will get to you!

2 more roofs completed yesterday and today both using Owens Corning Roofing shingles, one in ‘Driftwood’ and the other in ‘Teak’.

We were back on the Northshore today completing a main house roof and a roof on the large shed out back. Coming back shortly to finish the flat roof over the patio.

Exciting week ahead: Shingle and metal roofs, a cedar fence, custom interior shelving and cabinets, along with a concrete pad and custom pergola, and squeezing in minor repairs as we can. We cover the entire metro area including the Northshore and the West Bank. Don’t hesitate to reach out if we can help with any upcoming project.

2 Roofs completed yesterday in Slidell using Owens Corning Roofing Shingles. The main house was completed first (along with replacing all chimney flashing) followed by the apartment building on the same property.

New cedar fence finished in Belle Chasse today!

And the others…..a flat roof over a customer’s patio in Belle Chasse that has leaked for years, and another shingle roof in Slidell.

Back in Slidell for another new roof today. Keeping our other crews busy today with a fence and a flat roof on the West Bank, and a carpentry job in Gentilly preparing for a new shingle roof.

Another new roof going up in Slidell today using Owens Corning Onyx Black shingles.

Big week ahead with several shingle roofs, a metal roof, a flat roof, a new cedar fence, and also starting a new siding job in Kenner.

Brand new roof completed yesterday in the Treme area. This customer’s roof had been tarped since Ida and her insurance finally came through!

Here’s another job going on today in the uptown area. We had to cut the day a little short because of the rain.

Our crew on this job are working in some extremely difficult (high and tight) conditions replacing rotted siding and window trim. Uptown homes like this offer a unique challenge but our guys are up to the task.

A recently completed Hardie siding job. A complete transformation of the exterior of the house: from molded, cracked vinyl siding to beautifully installed and painted Hardie siding, soffit, and fascia.

Also, a custom patio cover was framed and added to the rear of the. It’s a seamless look as if it was always part of the house.

Quick replacement of a shed roof completed this morning in Marrero before the rain moved in. Shingles were badly damaged and also didn’t match the new roof on the main house.

In Slidell today, we have replaced old vinyl siding with newly installed Hardie siding, soffit, fascia, and window trim. Next week we will paint the Hardie siding in Sherwin Williams “Amazing Gray” and the trim in white. Once painting is complete, we will install a new roof for the customer using Owens Corning Duration shingles.
