Experiments are a great way to engage children and simultaneously work on a variety of skills. Preparing and completing this lava lamp experiment helped our patient work on handwriting and executive functioning (reading a list, writing down materials, following steps, etc.) The best part? Our patient gets to learn, create, and have fun too! Just look at how cool that lava lamp looks!
