🦑 Check out our Lower School students as they explored the fascinating anatomy of a real squid! With the guidance of Mr. Hernandez, our students uncovered several parts such as the beak, gills, hearts, the ink sac, and so much more! Afterwards, they even used the squid’s inner shell, known as a pen, to write their names with ink! 🖋️ #MiamiCountryDaySchool

⚡️ Sparking curiosity in our third-grade Lower School students! During their time in the Garner Center for Innovation, our students were fascinated with the concept of electricity and conductors. Using bananas as conductors, they created closed circuits and even crafted their own game controllers using everyday materials like cardstock, brass fasteners, and aluminum foil, alongside a Makey Makey kit. Makey Makey is an inventive kit connecting everyday objects to computer keys which allowed them to explore closed-loop electrical signals, sending commands to the computer with ease. Hands-on learning at its finest! #MiamiCountryDaySchool
