Some things are non-negotiable.​​​​​​​​

As a product-based business, you need packaging that will catch the eye of your customer and quality images to showcase your product online. Your customers can't touch and feel your product like they would in a store like Target so you get one shot to pique their interest enough to check out.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
That’s why I always make sure I factor in additional time between the brand presentation and photoshoot so that packaging can be created, mocked, and approved. Then, all the product shots can be included in the brand shoot.​​​​​​​​

These are some of my staples when planning for product photography:​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
✅ product on a clean white background from at least 2 angles​​​​​​​​
✅ products together (a collection shot)​​​​​​​​
✅ a styled 'set' image to support the theme of your collection​​​​​​​​
✅ your product in the wild (on a person, on a counter, in a kitchen, etc.)​​​​​​​​
✅ your product in use​​​​​​​​
✅ close-up angles so customers can see the texture, and color better​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
There are plenty more, but these are some to prioritize.​​​​​​​​

The truth is when you're launching a new offer, a beautifully, and strategic sales page WILL blow a poorly made (or DIYed) 5-page website out of the water. What are you even putting on all 5-pages anyway? Do you even know, or was that what you were told you needed?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Someone has LAUNCHED!! I'm so excited, this has been months in the making!

Rebranding is a LOT of work, and if there’s was only ONE thing I had to say for the rest of my life pertaining to the topic, it would be 'don't be afraid to break up with your previous brand aesthetic'. Only bigger and better comes from it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I received DMs from time to time asking about the process, and how to know when it's time or what to do to prepare.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One: Have your signature offer READY. Know who you're going to be serving inside and out, we will only be building upon that.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Two: Break Up with those aesthetics that will KEEP you STUCK working with less desirable clients. Hanging on to that look only keeps ATTRACTING THEM, and it can cost you more money in the long run.

Staying stuck #2 can make rebranding SO difficult because you'll let your own desires get in the way of serving your clients.

Certain looks may seem more flashy at first glance but think JLUX versus City Trends. One is speaking to a totally different market, and more sophisticated market, and I don't need to tell you which one.

Nothing confuses me more than seeing women promote their services a few times, and then send you to an acuity link to book a discovery call. Then... complain their calls aren't converting.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sis, I have no idea what I'm buying. When someone is making a purchase - especially one that's 4-5 figures they NEED (not just want) all the details to help support their interest. That's why you need a sales page.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Your audience needs to know:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅ what you're promising them⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅ when they can expect results⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅ the modules or framework being covered⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✅ payment plan options⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅ more info about what makes you qualified to get this done⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

THEN... you can invite them to apply.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

An acuity/calendly link does none of those things. It assumes your social marketing has told them everything they need to know and that's not smart. Without a proper sales page, you'll either get prospects who aren't informed enough to buy or crickets... because your ideal client has no idea what they're getting into. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Stop telling people to DM you for more info when you can answer all of their general questions on your sales page. Then if they need specific information, they can come back and you can continue the conversation from there.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When I go over my notes from past consultation calls, women often bring up that they've worked with a previous designer in the past, but weren't satisfied. Sometimes the problem with working with another designer is that they aren't experienced in taking the information you're giving them about your ideal client and crafting it into an identity that works for your them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
