Last night, in my role as president of the Middlesex County NAACP, I spoke out at the BOE of East Haddam about the disgusting behavior of 10 white students at their middle school. they have taunted, harassed, and emotionally tortured a young brother yet the white kids have not suffered any onsequences. Call East Haddam. If these kids are seniors, they should not be allowed to walk in their graduation today (6/13/24). If they are athletes and will return in September, they should be removed from any teams on which they play.
If we cannot enforce the 2021 CT Hate Crimes Law, PA 21-78 and PA 21-128, then make sure the school system enforces consequences.

Attitude + Behavior = Consequences.
