Who’s ready for a beach day!!

I hoped to get at least a little content riding this boat, but expected the bulk of my "good shots" would be across the water. Little did I know the personalities & warmth of the 2 captains on board would give me so many laughs, so much freedom to roam around the boat, and so many unexpected fantastic moments from them. In this moment, I turned around to ask something, and I saw this... and I shot it because it just personified the day and the entire experience: easy, calm, friendly and just chill. What an amazing experience.

This guy is arguably one of the nicest guys I've met in years... and, yeah, he's barefoot... because he fishes barefoot. I asked him if he's afraid he'll puncture his feet with those giant heavy hooks that inevitably end up on deck. He laughed & shrugged. So that's a No. 🤙
