Please stop by the park THIS Sunday 6/11 at 4pm for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Everyone is invited and there will be cake!
We would like to thank Aureon for choosing to support the communities they serve. The Miles Park Project was recently awarded a $1,000 grant on top of an additional $1,000 we received at the beginning of the project! These funds are very appreciated as we work to bring this project to a close. Thank you Aureon!
We hope everyone will stop by to help us celebrate with a ribbon cutting ceremony!
Note that the park will still open as soon as work is completed, even if it is before June 11th.
Surface installation is starting today with the goal to finished tomorrow! It is super important that everyone stays off the flooring as it takes up to 48 hours to fully cure.
We appreciate your patience as we work to get the park opened ASAP!
The replacement parts for the slide and bobber have arrived and been installed. Next up, poured in place flooring installation!
One last thank you for the night-- A huge shout out to The Home Depot for donating 120 bags of Quikrete! They were even kind enough to deliver the bags at no cost to us. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support!!
We would also like to thank all of the individuals and businesses that donated materials to the build. Whether it was food to feed our volunteers or equipment we needed, thank you so much for your donation. These local businesses have demonstrated time and time again just how much they are willing to support events in the community, we ask that you show your thanks by patronizing them in return!

Last weekend we built a park…it seems so crazy to say, but we did it! 🤩
This project has been a community effort from the very beginning, so it is very fitting that we had 40 community members volunteer their time to help in some way with the build. Without them, the build would not have been completed. It truly was an amazing thing to witness--people working together, some strangers, some not, tirelessly moving from one task to the next until each piece was assembled. I hope everyone is as proud of our community as we are! Thank you so so much! ❤️
The hard part is done, but there is still some work to do. Next up we will get the concrete holes topped off. We had a couple part issues, so we have to wait for replacements to be installed before the poured in place flooring can be completed. Stay tuned for updates on when the park will be open and the ribbon cutting ceremony.
So many thank you's to come for everyone that helped make this project possible, but for tonight we would like to share our utmost gratitude to our build volunteers. You were all outstanding and we could not have done this without you!
HERE IS YOUR NEW PARK! (There is still some work to do on a couple pieces)
Please feel free to drive by and check it out, but we ask that you do not go on it yet as the flooring is not complete.
Last step before the build! These guys are working hard getting all the holes drilled.
Happy Ground-breaking day! Dirt work is starting!
