New to the Milford Wine & Cheese Co. lineup! Try a bottle of our 2021 Tempranillo - A medium-bodied red with moderate levels of tannins and acidity. Fragrant thread winding through soft baked black and red cherry fruit with Earl Grey tea flavors. Well structured with a pleasing mouthfeel and a brightly satisfying dusty tannin finish that floods and lingers on the palate. This is an interesting and complex wine, aged partially in whiskey barrels.

Try this wine paired with our Machego, Spanish Meseta or Vino Cabra cheese. The fat and salt from these cheeses pair beautifully with fruit, acid and tannin of this wine.

Christine and Rob recently visited the Loire Valley, France and stopped in La Passion du Fromage, in a lovely town called Amboise. "This cute shop blew our minds and senses with the varieties of AMAZING cheeses and the French terroir that they were sourced and produced from. Cholesterol numbers were certainly elevated on this trip, but so worth it!"

French cheese is renowned for its diversity and complex flavors. The unique characteristics of French terroir – the specific combination of climate, geography, soil, and vegetation – play a crucial role in shaping the nuances of flavor and texture in French cheeses.
