Arbor One Tree and Landscape

We are so proud and excited to call this incredible piece of equipment ours at Arbor One. This Tracked Lift has a reach of 72' and weighs less than a car. It can fit through a standard 34" gate. This lift will make fine pruning of ornamental trees, pruning of large shade trees and removal of hazard trees much more efficient. Thank You so much to Mike from Tracked Lifts for the thorough tutorial. We are so excited to get to work!

Sycamore (Platanus occidentalis) are having trouble leafing out due to sycamore anthracnose, caused by the fungus Apiognomonia veneta. Wet weather in May facilitates disease development. However, most trees will produce a full canopy of foliage during the month of June.

We are seeing incredibly high populations of Gypsy Moth Caterpillars this spring. Their high populations are devistating mature Oak trees (beginning with White Oaks) and with such high populations they are now feeding on Maples, Birch etc. Here is a link to the life cycle of these caterpillars.
