Hand tufted rugs and wall hangings
Power play involves many different practices, but it generally focuses on the relationship between a dominant and a submissive partner. The practice of bo***ge is a dance on the lines of enjoying the fear of powerlessness for the submissive and stimulating for the dominant through being authoritative and controlling. Certain materials can be used to squeeze and put pleasurable pressure on the ge****ls and other parts of the body, drawing out an intense, long-lasting climax over an extended period of time.
I created this piece to transform you, the viewer, into a vo**ur. Watching a scene you know you shouldn't be, but can’t keep your eyes off of. You dirty peeping tom, you! I want you to question whether you’re submissive or dominant, a top or bottom - perhaps both?

“I’ve famously said, ‘You’re born naked and the rest is drag,'” RuPaul said. “What that means is that we are all more than just what it says we are on our driver’s license. Or, what it says we are in our job description. We are actually, in reality, an extension of the power that created the whole universe. Can you handle it?”
Stay tuned. Additions to the shop and announcement coming soon

This year will be the first time I've attended the pride festival. I've been out since I was 15, grew up in a "don't ask don't tell" family, and am only now realizing how much I've muted myself over the course of my life. I have yet to really live my truth and for a while that inner war was getting to me, even if it didn't show. It feels good to process these feelings through art as I put myself out there more. The following is my second piece for the SLC Q***R gallery show at

I'm happy to finally share what Ive been working on these last few months. After hardship at the beginning of the year and a rude awakening to follow I, decided to switch mediums from painting to custom rug tufting. I want to explore my pride and express it with a textile art. This just feels so natural. To kick things off, I've created and want to share with you, a few pieces for this years SLC Q***R gallery show at This is the first one 🙂

Howdy y’all. I’ve got some exciting news to share. A couple of my pieces have been accepted into this years Colorful Collective art show at the Urban Arts Gallery in the Gateway Mall. There is a gallery stroll happening next Friday. So if you’re in Salt Lake and don’t have plans, come on down and see some art + support the community 🙂 The show is hanging right now through July 3rd so if next week does’t work for you it will be up for a bit. Details at the bottom of the post ❤️ ❤️❤️
The Colorful Collective
“If the term “q***r” is to be a site of collective contestation, the point of departure or a set of historical reflections and futural imaginings, it will have to remain that which is, in the present, never fully owned, but always and only redeployed, twisted, q***red from a prior usage and in the direction of urgent and expanding political purposes.” -Judith Butler (1993)
In celebration of Pride month, the Urban Arts Gallery presents “The Colorful Collective,” a new iteration of our annual SLC Q***r show. The exhibition will pay homage to the tribulations of the q***r experience in Utah where it is imperative to remain authentic, regardless of the “box” the surrounding community may attempt to apply. The included art is created by Q***r-identified artists and relates to Q***r themes, including the concepts of embracing one’s own colorful being regardless of identity, shedding one’s proverbial skin, and spreading one’s inspirational light to others. The show also highlights the importance of understanding and communicating Q***r history and education. The included artworks emphasize that we can only be stronger in unity and that together, we can transform the darkness in our world into one Colorful Collective.
“The Colorful Collective,” will hang from May 31st through July 3rd, with the gallery stroll artist reception on Friday June 17 from 6-9pm.
Admission is free and open to the public.
