Demo Boys Pro-Tip: Wire Pulling
when pulling out wire off in the first pole is the stickiest. Take the lead that you have wrapped around your wrench and give yourself a handle and that’ll get things moving.
I hope you find this video helpful. Thank you for watching, and as always, Happy Building!
Demo Boys Tricks: Dropping A Fire Escape! i’ll certainly start by saying anytime you’re going to drop anything make sure you spend a sufficient amount of time calculating the move! In this scenario, everything is getting removed and so if the floor is damaged etc. it’s not an issue. With that said we executed a couple of partial cuts in conjunction with the Fireman cut in order to control the drop of this flight of steel stairs! I hope you found this video helpful. Thank you for watching, and as always, Happy Building!
Demo Boys Moving: Washing Machine

Demo Boys Tips: Get A Good Rope!
We lent a hand getting studs to the 4th floor of a condo project. The elevator was too small but the ropes were just right! So instead of taking 70 trips ups the stairs we did 7 lifts to the balcony!
I hope you found this video helpful, Thank you for watching, and as always Happy Building!
Demo Boys Tutorial: Adapt your process to your environment. we are doing a demo in a condo loft space in downtown Milwaukee. This poses a few challenges with high ceilings and open spaces. With the use of our reusable barriers and some strategically cut corrugated plastic we were able to contain the space for working, including filling the space between ceiling joists. I hope you found this video helpful, thank you for watching, and Happy Building!
Demo Boys Tip: Site MappingIn any job site there is a lot of information that needs to be communicated. We take that responsibility seriously While in demo phase we identify and label attributes of the site as we discover them. This gives subsequent trades a subtle yet effective head start.I hope you find this video helpful , thank you for watching, and Happy Building!

Demo Boys: Specialty Moving
In this video we are moving the near impossible, a 797 pound radiator! This is a very touchy move and is not to be taken lightly. We enlist the Zonzini Skipper to perform this move. We selected the skipper due to the overall length of the radiator. In addition we are also using our Thora Fabrication gantry crane. The move took one hour and 30 minutes in total and went smoothly. This radiator is being transported to be restored and will go back to the spot it came from so stay tuned for the return move!
I hope you found this video helpful, thank you for watching, and Happy Building!
Demo Boys Tip: Get an elevated platform! We are working a project for and they have provided an elevated platform outside of the bathroom for us to utilize. The platform is constructed by .inc and will remain in place for the duration of the remodel. I hope you found this video helpful, thank you for watching, and Happy Building!
Demo Boys Tip: Wedges
When removing countertops that will be salvaged it is important do do do slowly. We use a series of wedges or shims to gently and evenly apply upward pressure to the tops until the adhesive is overcome. Once the adhesive bond is broken, the tops are free and loose and we can move them to their next home.
Demo Boys Tip: Use everything you have at your disposal!
In this video we are assisting in the setting of a 400 pound bathtub onto a newly set marble floor. We do this with precision with the use of ropes, winches, cranes, and patience!
I hoe you found this video helpful, thank you for watching, and Happy Building!
Pro-Tip: How To Handle Giant Mirror! We are doing a bathroom demolition and one of the tasks is removing a giant mirror. To achieve this we cut the mirror into manageable pieces. With a glass cutter we score, break, and repeat until the entire mirror is resized.

Demo Boys Tutorial: Pay close attention to your surroundings
We are moving a radiator today and yes, we are using the Zonzini Domino. so you asked the question, if you have stair climbing equipment, put why use the ramps? The ramps are a precaution in order to not stress the natural stone staircase.

Cut concrete, like Michelangelo, painted the Sistine chapel!
Demo Boys Tip: Modify your tools for your needs
We have a project in which we need to make a clean cut through structural steel flush with the face of a stud wall. To do this we modified a Hilti SPX Metal Cutting Blade. Because this blade is not designed for flush cutting we modified the blade to fit onto the Core Cut C16 flush cut fl**ge. The modification went well and the blade performed as needed.

Demo Boys Tutorial: Plugging Old Tub Filler Holes
The Scope: Swap out a claw foot tub for a soaker tub
The Catch: The old tub filler left holes in the tile
The Solution: Create tile plugs
We were invited to be a part of a tub swap project in which a clawfoot tube was being swapped out for a soaker tub. When we removed the existing faucet we were confronted with the challenge of hiding the holes. To do this we made plugs from tile that will be under the tub. We cored out plugs. Then we rounded out the faucet holes. the plugs will be grouted into the holes and they will be nearly invisible!
I hope you found this video helpful for your next project. We thank you for viewing, and as always, Happy Building!

Demo Boys Tools of the Trade: Hultafors 5' Pry Bar
The Tool: Its common knowledge that the right tool for the job makes things exponentially easier and this is yet another example. Hultafors makes this 5' bar with a steel head and an extruded aluminum handle!
The Why: The aluminum handle drastically reduces the weight at the end thus reducing user fatigue throughout the day. At the same time the steel head ensures that the working end of the bar is stiff and strong!
The Summary: All of the leverage with none of the stress
The Task: Cut through a 10” thick concrete foundation for new French doors!
The Catch: We don’t own a 30” wall saw nor can we make a huge mess
The Solution: Core in series while using a slurry vac
