💥Alright!!!! It’s finally time to ROCK the Wisconsin State Fair!!! Find us Friday AND Saturday at Pistol Petes from 8-11:30!! It’s a special weekend where each night you’ll see not one, but TWO Mt. Olive line ups!! See our current line up from 8-9:30…then the original Mt. Olive members from 1994 will take the stage for an hour before Jess, Jones, Dudor, Darren and Jim come back up to close the show with our best High Powered Rock!!! 💥30 years? This calls for a reunion!💥

30 years ago, Jim, Steve, Mike, and Ron got together in a cramped rehearsal studio in Bay View. Their only goal was to jam some of the cool new "Alternative" music that had just hit the airwaves. Bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden were on the playlist. It didn't take long to figure out that they had a pretty good thing going, and Mt. Olive was born.

30 years later, Jim has somehow managed to keep the Mt. Olive machine chugging along all this time. With Mike rejoining the fold in recent years, half of the original lineup is still intact. So to celebrate the 30 year milestone, we figured why not bring the other half of that original lineup back for a couple of nights to give everyone a taste of where this whole thing started.

So here's the plan. On August 9th and 10th, during our shows on Pistol Pete's stage at State Fair, we'll be presenting two different versions of Mt. Olive. The current lineup will start the show with an 1.5 hour set of all your favorite songs - just like you're used to. Then, the original lineup will take the stage together for the first time since 1995, and will play a bunch of that "Alternative" music they all fell in love with all those years ago. Afterward, (if the place is still standing 😉) the current lineup will return to close out the night. Each night will be filled with non-stop music, and will be a unique opportunity to enjoy both versions of the band on the same stage.

We hope you can join us for this. It's going to be a blast!
