Working on materials tonight so that my rep can try for a foreign sale. The film is still on Troma Now, but we are attempting to get it out in other areas.
Happy Birthday to Lindsey L. Gagliano! We worked together on Zombie Frat House. Here is one of her scenes.
We've been fortunate enough to have worked with Matthew Huebsch twice, he's in Zombie Frat House and this film. Happy Birthday Matthew!
Update: The cleaned up Petty Cash has been sent, the rep will get Zombie Frat House out as well, but we need to do prep for foreign markets. Make a couple files we don't have, such as a music and effects only track, plus any scene with text, including credits will have to have that text removed.

A Happy Birthday to Joe Lefeber! Our DP on Blood of Bad Men, and Tragic Consequences, plus he's a good filmmaker as well. He screened his film, Mittens at the MKE INT Short Film Fest.
Some news. My old rep, Igor Princ is back and will work on getting two completed films, Petty Cash and Zombie Frat House on various FAST (Free ad-supported television) streaming platforms, and maybe foreign distribution for ZFH.
And next year when Blood of Bad Men and Tragic Consequences are finished, they'll join in as a packaged deal.

A taste of the new 1080 upscale of Petty Cash as I ready it for a potential sale.
It is not a full remaster because that would take much longer, and they want the file Monday. So, it's more of a clean-up. I did have to reedit a couple scenes due some real bad interlacing (two fields to create a frame that create a brief ghost image) when up scaling a decent 720 SD file to 1080 HD. And minor changes with a few shots replaced because I just don't have the time to fully fix some exposures and color correction. Luckily, it's only 3 or 5 shots I used alternate takes. Another change is the credits seen here, they had to be completely redone due to interlacing. One added effect was I added a touch of color in the B&W image of Bai Ling shooting her gun.

Well, this was unexpected. I got a call just now from my old film rep, Igor Princ and he wants to reup with me because Pluto is interested in buying Petty Cash. After 14 years the film might get sold after all. There are some catches, the file is from the old SD days and badly needs a remaster.
Due to my busy schedule with the film festival, I told him that I could clean it up and get it to him in a couple of months. Work on it here and there in-between the day job and festival duties. But they need a file now. So, he's going to send them the old SD file, which they might reject because it's SD.
We'll see what happens. I'll keep all posted on the progress.
During the production of The Op series, some story threads were shot and then eliminated.
