Matthew 27:51
All things with God are possible! Job 42:2, Matt. 19:26
The word “ministry” is found in the scripture in the form of the word in Greek, liturgia. It means service. Modern Christians have missed this idea of what ministry is. This week’s coffee and conversation podcast (which is free on all platforms) we are talking ministry… I guarantee you not everyone has the same thought on this… we talk about it tomorrow night. What is your reasonable service? Do not misread Romans 12:1
Job 1:20-22, these verses show us that when tragedy befalls us (we have all faced tragedy in one form or the other) Job did not sin or charge God. It’s easy to sin, it’s easy to blame God (bring charges against him) it’s not easy to fall to the ground and worship, even when God gives permission to satan to test us; it is God who knew that Job would not sin and charge Him with wrong. Job did not rest in his own strength; however, he rested in the truth of his relationship with God and relied on his strength in the midst of tragedy. Job had no where else to turn than to go to God!
Scripture just says it

Not many post in a while for me, life has been extremely busy… softball season came to an end for us tonight in the playoffs. I’m so proud of Lucy, who as a freshman, was able to travel with our varsity squad and gain some experience. I loved being out there with her this year!
Hard work in the garden will always pay off!

I have so much to be thankful for, God, my family, and all of you who have supported this channel most of all. It seems silly to say that, but this is 2 hard years in the making so bare with me. If you choose to read this all the way through thanks. Raising and processing a pig or any animal was not in my brain three years ago. Gardening was the beginning of something that led me down a major rabbit hole. It showed me that there is a possibility of making a way for my family to not be so dependent on the box store. My Brother in law Dennis has been pushing for the homestead lifestyle for many years. These pictures are just the first step for us into the right direction as we seek to be less dependent on what Someone else says I have to do and what I am going to do. If Covid taught me anything, it was to seek the alternative and starting ridding myself from the bo***ge of the world. This is heavy; but releasing myself from that bo***ge has been the best thing I’ve done. We bought some chickens (egg layers), meat birds for the freezer, and pigs for feeding. They are not let’s but a source of food that I am comfortable saying that I know where it came from. That is huge!
This Handy Plucker is ready to go for our second round of chicken processing next weekend!
Girls are producing eggs! We are so thankful!
Diving into this nugget today! Always learn! The moment that I think that I have it figured out is the moment I relate that I don’t. looking forward to this read and applying it to our homestead!
Gardening is hard especially when time away from the garden because life is busy. I am reminded that God is the one that produces the fruit, not me.
Apparently, it’s National daughter’s day. Here’s to these girls that I’m glad to call my own!
What looks to be a seedling growing in a wood chip garden bed is in reality a w**d growing in wood chips in a truck bed… time to clean out the truck bed!!!
This is from a agriculture text book that was being set aside. I picked it up and began to read because I’m that guy. This paragraph gets it right. Printed in 1979.
