I hate moving (don’t we all?) and decided for this move to splurge and hire a moving company. It was soooo worth it! Tank and Marquel with were great. Real estate folks, add to your vendor list.

So I did a thing today! Didn’t want to talk about it until the ink dried but as of today I’m officially a homeowner again. At the beginning of the year I had a goal of buying a condo. Midway through the year I wasn’t sure if or when it would happen. As a real estate agent, I’m not immune from rising rates and low inventory. So grateful to be here today.

We've talked a little about slatted wood being a design trend, but here's an even easier way to achieve this look: pole wrap. It's a piece of flexible backboard that already has all the slats attached to it, making it a dream come true for DIY-ers. Limewash walls are in, as seen here on , add visual interest to plain walls by giving them a chalky, moody texture and more of an old world feel. Sometimes, like in this photo, the limewash is pretty obvious, but you can also achieve a quite subtle look as well.
