Once aspiring to be a formula driver, Steven's path took a turn when he became a father at just 19 years old. He found his passion in the construction industry, where he deeply appreciates the commitment of everyone involved, from initial renderings to the final reality. His favorite aspect of his work is "fostering lifelong relationships in a small world where knowing the right people makes all the difference." We wholeheartedly concur!

Steven enjoys playing golf, participating in group fitness, and spending quality time with friends and family outside of work. When asked about his dream vacation, he modestly replied, "Anywhere with palm trees!"

Steven believes that while success has no bounds, karma is always present. "Do what's right, and right will follow. Do what's wrong, and wrong will linger. Respect and love will always prevail."

When you hear someone say, “Oh, that light looks blue” or another color, the color temperature is usually what they are referring to. This measures how “warm” or “cool” a light source appears. Color temperature is measured in Kelvin (K). Warmer colors have a lower Kelvin value (2700-3200K), while cooler colors have a higher Kelvin value (4000-5000K).

It's important to note that color temperature is a separate concept from illumination levels, which refer to the amount of light that falls on a surface and is measured in lux or foot candles. Illumination levels can be adjusted with the use of dimmer switches or by changing the wattage or number of light sources, whereas color temperature is determined mainly by the type of bulb or light source used.

Understanding color temperature can be critical when it comes to creating the right atmosphere in a space. For example, a warm, yellowish light might be preferred in a cozy living room or bedroom, while a cooler, bluish-white light might be more appropriate for a workspace or kitchen. Different color temperatures can also affect how colors appear in a space, so it's worth considering when choosing paint colors or decor.
