The Minneapolis American Indian Center will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. The holiday is a commemoration of the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in the United States learned they were free.
Our doors will be closed and there will be no programming tomorrow, but we will resume normal operations on Thursday.

Cafe highlight: The Root Veggie Hash is a favorite on our breakfast menu.
The roasted root vegetables are topped with two eggs and a generous drizzle of our roasted red pepper aioli. The dish comes with our fresh wild rice toast, made in house by our line cook, Linus Yellowhorse.
Come try the Root Veggie Hash and the rest of our menu Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Breakfast is served until noon.
New at the cafe: Gatherings Cafe is serving non-alcoholic Headwater seltzers from Gentleman Forager. Available flavors are Tangerine Lions Mane and Blueberry Chaga.
The lions mane mushroom can positively support gut, brain, and heart health. The chaga mushroom can also support the immune system and reduce inflammation.
Come try these refreshing and healthy seltzers next time you're at the cafe. We're open Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch!
