Palm Sunday 🌿

It’s been a challenging few weeks with the loss of a loved one and being sick in bed for 5 days. BUT, it’s also those challenging times that remind us to be grateful for what we do have, and that we can do hard things and get through them. It’s also been a great reminder that every breath, sunrise and sunset is such a blessing, do not take your loved ones or health for granted (keep working at it), and it’s ok to “lean on” your family, friends and Jesus when you need help. 🙏🏼

Another fun adventure to the charming city of Lucerne, Switzerland.
This picturesque
walking city is nestled in by Lake Lucerne with majestic mountains surrounding it. You can stroll the cobblestone streets in Old Town that are lined with cute shops, bakeries, gorgeous churches, and take in an abundance of beautiful detailed architecture. A few medieval wood bridges cross over the rushing Ruess River that runs right through this quaint Swiss city.

One of my favorite things to do was to hike or ride up the lift to the Château Gütsch Hotel and have an appetizer and local wine or beer in their cool bar/restaurant. The views are spectacular with a bird’s-eye view of the stone wall, river, architecture, lake, and mountains surrounding it.

I would highly recommend going to lovely Lucerne for a 1-2 day trip. If you have time take a boat ride over to one of the lifts for another spectacular view, toboggan, ski, and/or spa. Gorgeous city and area! :)

Fall is in the air and officially here this weekend, so I’m getting outside as much as possible to enjoy our beautiful Minnesota! 🍁

What are some of your favorite things that you look forward to in the fall?
Here are a few of mine:
-A new season of football & hockey
-Colorful hikes
-Pheasant hunting
-Apple orchards
-Stoking an indoor fire at the cabin
-Snuggling up with a blanket for a good movie or read
