The 2024 Auggie Cross Country season begins tonight in St. Cloud, MN! We’ll open with a 5K against some great competition. Excited to stand on a line to test ourselves for the first time!

Owen Nyachae of North H.S. (MN) will be joining the Augsburg Track & Field program starting in the fall of 2024!

Jamie is a sprinter who focuses mostly on the 400m. He’ll also be able to contribute to our relays and add great depth to our squad! Welcome Owen!

Jamie is a hurdler with a ton of potential, especially in the long hurdles. He’ll also be able to help bolster our relays too! Let’s get after it, Jamir!

Adrian will be a thrower for our track & field squad, and she’ll be bringing a lot of great energy to our team!

Bahati will be a sprinter for the Auggies, and she’ll have the opportunity to contribute immediately to the team!

Congratulations to our four Auggies who earned All-MIAC Honors last weekend at the 2024 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships!

•Mohammad Bati: All-MIAC in the 5K & 10K after earning the MIAC title in each race!
•Kameron Smith: All-MIAC in the Triple Jump after being crowned MIAC Champ! Kam’s TJ title also earned him the Men’s Rookie of the Year honors!
•Gracie Johnson: All-MIAC honors in the 3000m Steeple Chase after placing 3rd overall!
•Allison Hookom: All-MIAC Honorable Mention with her 4th place finish in the 800m!

To finish day 2 at the MIAC Championships, Mohammed Bati left no doubts and won the 5K to capture his second MIAC title of the weekend! Mo knows how to do the work, and he showed it this weekend!

Don’t doubt Mo Bati.

🥇 Kameron Smith!!

All Kameron Smith had to do to be the MIAC Champion in the Triple Jump today was jump once! On his very first attempt of the day, Kam set the standard at 13.87m, and no one else could come close! Jam’s jump now ranks third all time at Augsburg!

And he thought he was only a long jumper…

You can’t keep this woman down! Super proud of Allison finishing as MIAC honorable-mention with her 4th place finish in the 800m on Saturday! Allison’s time of 2:14.85 now ranks third all-time at Augsburg!

Redemption is coming… 🤫

🥉 Gracie Johnson!!

In only her third effort steeplechase, Gracie Johnson placed 3rd at the MIAC Championships on Saturday! Gracie’s time of 11:25.22 also now ranks 2nd all-time at Augsburg!
