Happy Thanksgiving from Sagedahl Realty and my family!

I was recently asked why I chose Sagedahl Realty as my brokerage.

Was it because my last name is in the title? No, but that is kind of nice!

Was it because my brother is the owner? No, but that is kind of nice, too!

What was it then?

It was because of what Sagedahl Realty and Travis Sagedahl stand for: Follow the Golden Rule. Treat others the way you want to be treated. It is as simple as that. We were raised by this standard, and if you know Travis, he is a perfect example of it.

This is one of my favorite stories from Travis' realty career which validates the way he does business:

Many people have dreamed of finding a hidden treasure while remodeling a house, but Travis actually did! He found a small safe high on a shelf that you could tell hadn't been touched for years. It was in a home he had just purchased to remodel and sell. When he opened the safe there was a substantial amount of $$ inside. But, instead of keeping it because it was rightfully his and no one would have known, he decided to contact the past owners to give it back to them. They were completely shocked and grateful as they did not know it existed (longer story). I don't know a lot of people who would have done that. But to me, this shows honesty, class, and his true values. And, this is why I want to work with Sagedahl Realty and Travis Sagedahl.
