Join us tomorrow for Faith Witness Wednesday at the corner of Fairview Road and Barclay Downs - 10:30 am.
Our small but mighty group of climate activists delivered a letter to the bank and shared our love for the earth on Valentine's Day.
GreenFaith Charlotte Circle is at their Earth Witness Wednesday event tomorrow (Feb. 14th-Corner of BARCLAY DOWNS AND FAIRVIEW AVENUE). What is GreenFaith? It is a multi-faith, global organization that equips local people to organize and advocate for an end to fossil fuels. Deeply concerned for our children, grandchildren and life on this planet, we know that we must take action if we hope to secure that future. We know that it is going to take all of us to make it happen.
We will meet at the corner of Barclay Downs and Fairview Avenue @12:00 pm. We hope you will join us!

Activists strategize solutions at NC summit Community activists often don’t have the luxury of working on one problem at a time — environmental, political and health care issues, for instance, often arrive on their doorstep bundled together.

Earth Witness Wednesday!
August 9, 2023
- Charlotte, NC -
Like Greta who held vigil in front of Parliament to express her concern, we too must be willing to tell the world we care about what is happening. As people of faith, we are called to stand with those who suffer.

We had a lovely first "Earth Witness Wednesday" in front of Bank of America last week. 15 people stood together holding signs that read:
"I set before you life and death. Choose life so that you and your children may live" Deut. 30:19. No More Fossil Fuels.
As part of our effort, we wanted to say what we stand for -- we stand for life! And we hope our financial leaders would also make decisions for life!
Thanks to all who were able to join us and a special thanks once again to Rev. Justin for videoing our event. Our next "Earth Witness Wednesday" is August 9. Save the day on your calendar now; we will decide next week where and what time to gather.
