Hi. So I’ve been a bit MIA on my baking posts…it’s been a busy couple of weeks with birthday events. Well, they’re over now. Know what’s not over? Peach season is not over. I adore baking for Bethanie Knieser! She’s the sweetest…the baked goods were okay too. 😂😂 Just kidding, they’re amazing. She had a couple of repeat orders..my signature Butter & Crumb Banana Bread and decadent Peanut Butter Buckeye Brownies. But hold on folks…making their debut…. CAMPFIRE BROWNIES. Holy smokes. Literally. If you like s’mores, these puppies will knock your socks off. Bottom layer is a buttery graham cracker crust, with a fudgy brownie spread over it. The brownies are then layered with a bazillion mini marshmallows and set under the broiler until almost ablaze (ablaze optional, but I ADORE burnt marshmallows)! Absolutely incredibe. Hope you and the fam enjoy, my lovely friend!

Hello beautiful Genoise vanilla sponge! ❤️❤️❤️ Genoise makes the most incredibly light, fluffy, not overly sweet cake. Whole eggs are whipped in a stand mixer on high with the sugar for about 10 minutes and it makes the most lusciously fluffy batter. It’s a wonderful base for all sorts of other flavors you might want to add too!

Cheers to my 2nd annual vegan birthday goodies for Maya Rodgers and her hubby Jason for his birthday! They wanted a repeat of the layer cake I made last year, but in cupcake form, as well as vegan German chocolate cupcakes!

We have vegan Devil’s Food Chocolate cupcakes, cored and filled with marionberry compote, then I made a frosting well and dripped fresh blackberry sauce inside and topped it with dollops of vegan chocolate buttercream and toasted coconut.

Next the vegan German Chocolate cupcakes have a touch of almond and organic maple syrup baked in the cupcakes. They are topped with a mound of toasted walnut and coconut caramel, followed by a tall swirl of vegan chocolate buttercream and coconut chocolate ganache drizzle. ❤️❤️

I present my new menu item launch….Crumb Cups!!! This will be a new category of delectable treats added to my menu…there will be a variety of types and some will be fully customizable! For today we have:

1. “Playing in Mud” Crumb Cups - Oreo butter crumbs on the bottom, topped with edible Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, then a layer of Fudgy Chocolate Brownie bites, smeared with chocolate ganache, and sanded with a final dusting of Oreo butter crumbs. Spoon and napkins recommended. 😂😂

2. “Brookie of the Year” Crumb Cups - Similar to the Mud crumb cups, these begin with Oreo butter crumbs, layered with slightly underbaked Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie crumbles, some crispy and some mega gooey, then a layer of Fudgy Brownie bites, and smeared with chocolate ganache.

3. Cake Crumb Cups - This is a customized flavor of cake crumbs! Fresh raspberries lining the bottom, followed by zesty lemon cake cubes, topped with a heavenly raspberry buttercream, layered with more cake cubes and a final dollop of raspberry buttercream. To die for!!
