The bath caddies have been a popular gift/order item that can be made to span any width tub.
Customized for holding a tablet, phone, kindle, book, or computer, wine glass, cup, drink, and other options available; it can suit any need and add relaxation when needed most. Made with hardwoods that will not bow and coated with teak oil to handle the moisture, it will last a long time.
The first bath caddy I made was for my wife over a year ago and is used everyday whether it’s for her or my 8 year old son bathing (playing). It only needs to be wiped occasionally for the soap left on it and has held up like the day it was completed.
These are made to order due to different bath widths and range from 30”-48” starting at $100 and up.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to order one.
Cutting boards are fairly common in home stores and outlets; however, the quality for most store bought products are lacking which can be seen in the cracks, wood type, and finish. Gaps and cracks should be none on any board you cut or prep food as bacteria will grow in those cracks.
Edge grain boards have been the most popular due to their price point; however, end grain boards require additional cuts, glue, and time but are usually desired by chefs and those kitchens which use cutting boards every day.
The pros of the end grain cutting board is that the fibers on the end absorb the cuts better in the wood and do not dull your blades over time.
Wood still expands and contracts over time due to humidity and temperature in its environment. This is why the quality of the board makes a difference if you want it to last. You must continue to keep it conditioned so that it will not dry out as well.
Below are some edge grain and end grain boards produced so far. End grain boards cost a good bit more than edge grain for the reasons previously mentioned.
The various coaster sets were popular for Christmas gifts this year with 20+ sets sold. Each pattern is different with new patterns and options created each batch.
