I am so excited to show you this design because this verse has very deep meaning for me. I was reading in Ephesians one day, and when I got to this verse God really highlight it to me! He said “This is it. This is your goal, your purpose in life.”
You see, we were created for communion with Him! That’s all God has wanted from the beginning in the garden of Eden, to sacrificing his only son Jesus. He just wants to dwell with us.
But, in order for the Holy Spirit to draw near to us and dwell, we have to prepare our hearts and make space for Him. This may mean literally making time in the day to spend with Jesus or saying no to the things of this world.
As we lay ourselves down and choose Him more and more, He will refine you, build your faith, and continually transform your heart to look more like His.

This is the goal! This is my prayer to be a holy, anointed vessel for the Lord to dwell. I want to be a place where the spirit rests all the time. Where I can walk into a room and people, especially those that don’t know Christ can tell a difference.

1 Samuel 5:4 🙌💛🌟 (long caption warning…)

This verse seems intense, and it is. But it’s sooo powerful. To give some context, the ark of God had been stolen by the Philistines after a battle. The Philistines decided to store the ark in with their idols and gods. The Philistines rose the next morning to find their idol Dagon fallen to pieces before the ark. They put it back together but the next morning the philistines found the same thing; their idol Dagon fallen to pieces in front of the ark of God.

As I noted on the verse, God will have no rivals or equals! There will be no other God before Him. He made it clear that there is only One who sits on the throne!

As believers we should constantly evaluate our hearts and lives. Is there anything rivaling God? Is there anything besides God on the throne of my heart? Is there anything I have prioritized above Him? Lay down whatever the Holy Spirit shows you. 🧎🏾‍♀️‍➡️
The Bible tells us that we cannot serve two masters. Something will have to give; something will have to be second. (Luke 16:13). Don’t let that be God! A life surrendered to God is a life of freedom, joy, peace and purpose! God loves you so much and He wants to give you everything He has to offer. Lay your idols before God and watch them crumble. Let God be your first and greatest priority. He will take care of all the other things. You will never regret a lifetime given to Him ❤️‍🔥
