Get prepared Racers this event is coming to California at the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association car show in Pleasanton CA. Let’s make this a show for all. Save the date.

Here we go Modesto’s 1st race of the season. We will start season at the O.G. Spot. The weather is always a concern this time of year so if there’s a chance of rain I will cancel and move to another date. Pay attention Friday before race.

Mail call I got my BAB bearings. They fit like a glove.

I’m having a Bracket style race in Modesto. This race will be Saturday Jan 27 if weather allows maybe Sun Jan 28. Practice starts at 10am-12.

Street Outlaw 2024
1. Chassis:
2wd 12-13.5" wheelbase.
Rear Motor and Mid Motor Allowed
No 4wd or 4wd to 2wd conversions.
2. Motor & ESC:
2.1 Motor:
Any commonly over the counter 1/10 RC car motor. HARDWARE MUST BE AVALABLE 21 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF ANY EVENT.
Maximum Allowed can size is 550.
2.2 ESC:
Any commonly available, over the counter ESC. HARDWARE MUST BE AVALABLE 21 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF ANY EVENT.
** Full Speed Control Timing and Tuning Allowed.
** No "Assist" receivers or gyros, or any driving assist items allowed. No AVC Receivers. No
TSM receivers.
3. Battery:
Any commercially available 2s (in store or online) Lithium-Ion Polymer (LiPo), Graphene, or
LiPo HV Battery.
Must have a plug or bullet connectors (no hard wiring)
Single battery pack Only! No multi packs plugged in parallel.
A hard case is not required.
A 3D printed case for your pack is encouraged.

Front: Any commercially available (in store or online rubber with foam insert type.
No 0-Ring type. Min size 68mm or 2.68 inches
Real: Any commercially available (in store or online) rubber with foam insert type.
Treaded and slicks acceptable.
4.1 Foam Insert
Foam insert is not required in front or rear tires but maybe ran.
4.2 Prep:
Use of tire prep is allowed
4.3 Burn Out:
A burn out is not required, but we highly encourage it
5. Suspension:
Must have fully articulating suspension arms as found on typical short course trucks, using an inner hinge pin(s) for attachment to the chassis and outer hinge pin(s) for the attachment of the steering caster block(s) and the drive hub(s). This constitutes the use of four(4) inner hinge
pin(s) and four (4) outer hinge pin(s). The use of adjustable front or rear suspension arms)
(Custom Works Style) for toe adjustments are allowed. No system of suspension is allowed that introduces or allows for an form of "active toe".
5.1. Shocks:
Must have four (4) shocks on all four (4) corners of the suspension, actively attached to the suspension arm or hub/caster block assembly. All four (4) shocks are to have movement, along with the suspension arms with a minimum of 1/4" (.25 inches) or 6.35 mm of travel.
6. Transmission:
Car must use a 3-5 gear transmission (gear box)
Belts or link conversions not allowed.
7. Weight:
Cars ready to run must meet a minimum weight of 4.54lbs, 72.6oz, or 2060 grams
8. Wheelie bar:
No item may extend more than 14" from the rear dogbone including any wheelie bar parts or wheels.
8.1 Wheelie Bar Wheels:
Maximum of 1.5" tall wheels.
8.2 Wheelie Bar Active Adiustment:
There is to be no radio controlled, active adjustment to any wheelie bar device. A driver set, mechanical kickstand, aka Billy Bob device, is acceptable.
9. Body:
Must be a realistic looking drag car style body.
Pro Mods Allowed.
Body must cover wheels (i.e. no buggies)
Wheel well must be cut exposing a minimum of 1/2 the wheel.
9.1 Rear Body Cutouts:
The rear section of the body (valance/bumper panel) may be removed to mount a spoiler.
**Must retain the Original rear side quarter fenders, trunk lid and/or pickup bed.**
9.2 Bod Holes:
Up to four (4) holes for mounting, no larger than " at any location on the bod are allowed Window cut outs Not allowed.
Extra holes will need to be covered in tape or stickers of body has been remounted.
9.3 Spoilers and Splitters:
Rear wings, spoilers, and side dams may extend off the body's rear deck a max of 3 inches and cannot extend taller than parallel to the roofline.
Rear spoilers supplied with a body are considered legal for that body in their intended design.
Nose splitters may extend a max of 1/2" from the edge of the body.

10.1 Back Up Vehicles:
Racers are allowed to have a primary and a back up race car. Each car must be presented before the first round for marking. Examples are (tamper proof stickers, tech markings) this will be left to the race director to determine the best way mark cars for their race. If your primary car becomes unable to race the backup may be presented to race,the primary car that is broke shall be impounded. Parts may be taken off to use but the main chassis must be impounded. The primary car is then deemed unusable the rest of the event. A car can only be used by one competitor only. If your backup is not checked in before the first round you cannot tech one in after the start of the first round. Cars cannot be transferred from racer to racer.
Once the first round starts your teched in cars are all you are allowed to race in accordance to the procedure stated above.

If you physically apply any substance to the tire that makes it physically and abnormally stickier than produced, this is NOT a dry tire and is a disqualification)
4.3 Burn Out:
A burn out is required. It is not to be performed directly where the car is to be launched from in the race.
When Burnouts are being done by racers they must be done on the race surface behind the starting line. A burnout box will be defined by the race director.

Must have fully articulating suspension arms as found on typical short course trucks, using an inner hinge pins for attachment to the chassis and outer hinge pin(s) for the attachment of the steering caster block(s) and the drive hub (s). 9.1 Rear Body Cutouts:
Entire rear of body must remain in place and cut along the molded cut lines. Molded in bumpers MAY NOT be removed, altered, or modified in any way, or be removed and reattached with the exception of any bodies that the rear bumper is molded separately. In the case of a separate bumper, it is to be attached, so as to meet the measurements set forth here in the rear body cut line guide-
Rear cut out; If the body does not have a molded bumper, the rear cutout must be between 19.05 mm (.75in) and 44.45 mm (1.75in) as measured from the bottom plane of the chassis plate.

9.2 Body Holes:
Up to four (4) holes for mounting, no larger than ½" at any location on the body are allowed.
Window cut outs Not allowed.
Extra holes will need to be covered in tape or stickers of body has been remounted.
9.3 Spoilers and Splitters:
Rear wings, spoilers, and side dams may extend off the body's rear deck a max of 3 inches and cannot extend taller than parallel to the roofline.
Rear spoilers supplied with a body are considered legal for that body in their intended design.
Nose splitters may extend a max of 1/2" from the edge of the body.
10. Radio:
Radios must have a retail value of no more then $175.00 ( not friends price or other sites prices). If race director looks up retail price that’s price.
11. Allowed MODS:
Accepted Mods are Servos, Tires, Shocks, Shock Towers, Pinion& Spur gears, bearings, Wheelie Bars.

This Saturday 21 is the last race of the season.

We will be have our awards race October 22. I would like all of our TOP ten guys there. This way I can hand out awards and get a couple of pictures. We will be racing. if you have been to one of our races or want this should be a fun day.

Ready to Run “RTR” CLASS

1. Chassis: Must be a RTR or roller version of three manufacturers Dr10, 22s, Drag slash. No carbon fiber chassis allowed.

2. Motor & Esc: Must use one of the 3 known stock esc (can be swapped between models). Motors must be between 3300KV - 6500KV any over the counter model.

3. Battery: Battery voltage must be no high than 8.44 volts maximum. Must have plug (no hard wiring)
Hv packs allowed voltage must not exceed 8.44v max Single packs only.

4. Tires: Rubber foam insert style rear and front tires, threaded or slick allowed. (No O-rings) running without foam insert allowed.

5. Shocks: Must have four shocks each controlling a wheel as intended by typical manufacturers. Connected and operating hinge pin arms at all four corners of the car. Shocks must have movement visible and acceptable by the race director. “No Tie rod”

6. Body: The body must cover all 4 tires. Rear of body must remain, no bodies allowed without rear bumper. Realistic add-ons are allowed. No aftermarket wings or spoilers allowed (stock wings allowed)

7. Weight: Cars ready to run must meet a 4.54lbs (72.6oz, 2060 grams) Minimum

8. Gearing: Pinion and Spur gear changes are allowed.

9. Wheelie bar: The wheelie bar may be aftermarket.

10. Tire prep: Tire prep is allowed.

11. Driving assistance controls (TSM, gyro, etc) are only allowed in kids class.

“Street Eliminator“


1. Chassis: Short course-based chassis (2wd), 12-13.5 inch wheelbase (4wd not allowed, 4wd to 2wd conversion not allowed)

1A. This rules is only for Stock Eliminator class. The chassis must be a SCT style chassis (no carbon fiber chassis’s)

2. Motor: Any commonly over the counter RC car motor

3. Battery: 8.44v max voltage lithium polymer/ion (lipo) Hard case not required.
Must have plug (no hard wiring)
HV packs allowed (must not exceed 8.44v max)
Single battery packs only, no mult packs plugged in parallel.

4. Tires: Rubber foam insert style rear and front tires, threaded or slick allowed. (No O-rings) running without foam insert allowed.

5. Shocks: Must have four shocks each controlling a wheel as intended by typical manufacturers. Connected and operating hinge pin arms at all four corners of the car. Shocks must have movement visible and acceptable by the race director. “No Tie Rods”.

6. Transmission: Car must use a 3-5 gear transmission (gear box) Belts or link conversions not allowed.

7. Weight: Cars ready to run must meet a 4.54lbs (72.6oz, 2060 grams) Minimum

8. Wheelie bar: May extend a maximum of 15” from the rear drive (CVA/Dog bone).

9. Body: Realism
Body must cover wheels (i.e. no buggies)
Wheel wells must be cut exposing 1/2 the wheel minimum.

10. Wings and things: Rear wings/spoilers may extend off the body’s rear deck a max of 3 inches.
Rear side dam may not be higher than the car roof line and can extend off the body’s rear deck a max of 3 inches.

Nose splitters may extend a max of 1/2” from the edge of the body.


11. Rear Body Cutouts: The rear section of the body (valance/bumper panel) may be removed but must retain the original rear side quarter fenders, trunk lid and/or pickup bed.

Rear spoilers supplied with a body are considered legal for that body in their intended design.

12. Body holes: Up to four (4) holes no larger than ½” at any location on the body are allowed. Window cut outs Not allowed.


13. Prep: Tire prep is allowed but a burn out is required before staging your car.


** No "Assist" receivers or gyros, or any driving assist items allowed. No AVC Receivers. No TSM receivers.


Protests: All protests must be turned into the Race director within thirty (30) minutes of the conclusion of the race.
The protest fee (cash or check) must be paid at the time of the protest. ($100.00 US)
Only the car owner, driver or team representative of the car may submit an official protest.
Any refusal of inspection and/or non-compliance during an official protest will be subject to penalty and/or disqualification and/or any other action deemed appropriate by Race Director.
If the car protested is found legal, the protesting fees will be released to the protested team.
If the car protested is found to be illegal, the protesting fees will be returned to the team filing the protest.

The Track: The track length is 132 feet (scale ¼ mile) We call this no prep meaning we only sweep the racing surface; no traction additive is applied to the surface.




*** 13.5 SUPER STOCK***



1. Chassis: Short course-based chassis (2wd), 12-13.5 inch wheelbase (4wd not allowed, 4wd to 2wd conversion not allowed)

2. Motor: 13.5 BLINKY* or Boosted

3. Battery: 2 cells (8.44v max, single pack)

4. Tires: Rubber foam insert style rear and front tires, threaded or slick allowed. (No O-rings) running without foam insert allowed.

5. Shocks: Must have four shocks each controlling a wheel as intended by typical manufacturers. Connected and operating hinge pin arms at all four corners of the car. Shocks must have movement visible and acceptable by the race director. “No Tie Rods”.

6. Transmission: Car must use a 3-5 gear transmission (gear box) Belts or link conversions not allowed.

7. Weight: Cars ready to run must meet a 4.54lbs (72.6oz, 2060 grams) Minimum

8. Wheelie bar: not allowed

9. Body: Must cover the chassis, tires and look scale

Body must have the wheel arches fully cut out per the manufacturer’s suggestions.

Must have full front and rear bumper

No holes drilled in the body other than to mount or add scale items.

10. Wings and Things: Rear wing must not extend more than 2” past the end of the factory deck lid.

Side dams may not extend more than 1/2 inch above the horizontal plane of the rear wing, and 2” off the rear deck lid.
Total side dam height not to exceed 1.5”.
**Must appear scale, at the race director’s discretion

Rear spoilers supplied with a body are considered legal for that body in their intended design.
No nose splitters or canards


No gyro/AVC/TSM allowed (**racers 14 yrs. and under allowed to use until their first event win or age exceeds the maximum)

SCALE: Scale items are required for this class and all entries must have ONE of the items listed below on their car to compete in the 13.5 scale class.
