It has been a while since I have had an opportunity to post various events and happenings here at the preschool.

The preschool children attended our annual field trip to the Stanislaus County Fair last Friday, July 15th, 2022. We really had a great time during our tour. Here are photos of this special event. I know you’ll enjoy them😊

The preschool had a total of twelve children who graduated on Friday, May 27th at 10:30 a.m. It was a very special event and the children were so excited to graduate!
Here are some special photos I was able to capture during our program. After the awards and graduation ceremony, the children went swimming and we had a great lunch with all the hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by our cook Lisa! TU parents for all the wonderful side dishes and desserts!

I just wanted to highlight some of February’s activities. There has been a lot going on from celebrating Groundhog’s Day, 100 Days of school, Valentine’s Day, just to name a few. Here are some photos I captured some of these events. I am sure that Teacher Jessica will add more!

Ee is Egg! We boiled, peeled, chopped and mixed our lunch today.

Part of October’s curriculum covers Fire Safety. The children have been learning about Stop, Drop and Roll!
Our local fire department came out for a visit to the preschool. They arrived on Tuesday morning and the children learned a lot about what equipment is kept on the firetruck and how this equipment helps them take care of us and those fires! The children asked as many questions as they liked and at the end, Ms. Janet asked the firefighter to put on his equipment and talk to the kids. She explained that during a fire, children can be scared and seeing someone dressed with a mask on and sounding very differently can add to their fear. Allowing the children to see them transformed from normal uniforms to their fire preventative clothing will ease their fear if they ever encounter a home fire.

Friday, October 15th was our annual field trip to Resendiz’ Farms in Hughson, CA. We had a great turnout of most but not all of our children who participated. There were 25 children who made it with parents or grandparents and teacher’s children who were an extra welcome to this event! Here are a variety of pics for your perusal. Enjoy!!

We are a state licensed preschool/daycare located in Modesto. One awesome thing about Sequoia Preschool Academy is that there is love on site at all times. Our teachers work hard to ensure a fun filled & busy day for your children! Some of our favorite activities include:
Reading, Painting, Singing, Outside Playtime, Dress Up, Field Trips and so much more!

We participate in the food program and provide breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks! Also all subsidized programs accepted!
