This class means the world to me. It’s always filled with such good vibes, people striving to find balance in life, overcome anxiety, and just evolve into the best version of themselves. I am beyond grateful to know each and every one of you and meet new people along the way.

We have been busy over here, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Once warmer weather starts, I transition to self-care events. Although most of my posts have been about those events, I still have customers who stock up on their products and continue to support my small business 🥹❤️.

It’s crazy to think we are going into our third year of this small business, and I wouldn’t be able to get through the hard and challenging days without all of your love and support. Being a small business owner is never easy, with tasks like paperwork, bookkeeping, organizing, inventory, and so much more behind the scenes. But because of the people I have been surrounded by and those who continue to show support, I am able to keep pushing through.

You also don’t see that watching all of you become so relaxed in the moment makes me feel like I’m doing something right. When I create my products, I always aim to create something that not only benefits myself and promotes a more holistic wellness lifestyle, but I do it because I can’t be the only one dealing with anxiety, seasonal depression, or someone who is trying to establish a self-care routine that works for them. When I organize an event, my sole purpose is always to positively impact at least one person's life.

W•O•W! This class was a favorite of mine. This was our first collaboration for sunset yoga, and it was absolutely beautiful. The way the breeze filled our lungs with fresh air, the aroma of the lavender, the sun setting, and the good vibes. I cannot believe this is my full-time job between teaching weekly yoga classes, hosting yoga and self-care events, and my online products, but I count my blessings for being able to put together nights like this for others to enjoy. It truly was amazing to see 33 in attendance on a Friday night to enjoy an hour of self-care, beginners yoga, meditation, food truck, permanent jewelry, and shopping at Lavender Lane. It is the best feeling to call the owners of Lavender Lane dear friends of ours after working together for two years now.

I overheard a conversation after class where someone was telling another yogi that they had attended my classes last year as well, and I just have to say THANK YOU. I do my best to remember names and faces, but the fact that people have become regulars for me is a feeling that I cannot even begin to express with words. Thank you for clapping after class, for sharing kind words and gratitude with me on your way out, and for coming back. Also, thank you to those of you who fall in love with the handmade roller blends that I use in class and stay after to chat about the benefits of nature's beauty.

Tonight’s class was a 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 guided meditation to remind us that we are one with nature. The lavender plants are rooted into the ground for growth and stability, and we have the same opportunity as the plants around us to continue to grow, find our inner peace, and have stability in our lives.

Tonight was such a beautiful evening. Sometimes I openly talk about my anxiety and mental health because people come to my class to not only feel great but to become a better version of themselves and to navigate through their own anxiety and mental health. It was such a positive place to have this conversation and after I got done sharing, people in class quickly started restating the affirmations they’ve heard and the lessons I’ve taught. I didn’t share this with them so that they would give me anything in return but talk about a good feeling after hearing how my lessons have impacted other people and now it was their turn to remind me what they have learned. Not only that, they shared some of the kindest words and then sent messages after class with inspiring quotes and for that, I am forever grateful 🥹.

This is much more than just a yoga class. I am more than just a yoga instructor; I am like the rest of us, trying to improve myself and find inner peace while helping others in the process. When I say thank you for being here, I genuinely mean it. Each one of you holds a special place in my heart, and I am forever grateful to practice yoga with all of you.

I'm just a small-town girl wanting to change the world. I am a certified 200-hour yoga instructor, a certified mindfulness instructor, a basset hound mom, a family-oriented individual, a child of God, a nature lover, an old soul, and a firm believer in the healing powers of nature.

The name "Tub Tea" originates from the first product created, symbolizing a self-care bath. As we continued to grow, we stuck with the name because it means to pour into yourself. Each remedy contributes to our self-care and mental health, providing our minds, bodies, and souls with the love they deserve. Think of it this way: each day, you have the opportunity to fill your own bathtub and choose what you pour into yourself. This could include attending yoga classes, meditating, using essential oil roller blends, nasal inhalers, shower steamers, organic soap, and so on. At the end of the day, it is always up to us to decide what we pour into ourselves. This is what this small business is all about! Today was such a good day! I feel like I have fallen off the wagon lately and have been struggling to find a routine. Today was a little reminder that I am on the right path and that I’m doing what I do for a reason. The days are long but so beyond worth it and filled with many opportunities.

I have had the pleasure of teaching yoga to students these past few weeks, and it has been a reminder of why I do what I do. It was a great feeling to talk to students about the benefits of yoga and meditation, teach them breathing techniques as a certified mindful instructor, which is a skill they can carry with them from a young age.

I completed my evening activities by teaching my regular Tuesday class at Jefferson Rec Center, and it was once again a constant reminder of why I do this. It is such a reassuring feeling when people share their kind words with me after class and being able to see them leave feeling rejuvenated.

So, thank you for being here and for showing up consistently over the years. People often ask why I don’t charge more, and I simply remind them how blessed I am to be able to do this and to practice self-care more frequently throughout my weeks. We all deserve a little more self-care and need to learn how to live a peaceful lifestyle.

We spent our time relaxing and rejuvenating. It’s important to establish routines that allow us to savor our lives and cherish every moment. However, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life. This week served as a reminder for me to love what I do. Such a beautiful, peaceful morning with a full class that I am extremely grateful for. I had a little bit of anxiety this morning when looking at the forecast, but then I reminded myself that we practice outdoor yoga to connect with nature. We did just that this morning while practicing beginner's yoga and meditation in the lavender fields, even feeling a few raindrops. We focused on the sounds of nature, the clouds in the sky, and all that was around us. I am in pure bliss, and this is a type of self-care like no other. There's something about the aroma of lavender, lying directly in the fields, giving ourselves time to indulge in self-care, and practicing peace.

Thank you to every single one of you who attended the first class of this season. It was so good to see some familiar faces and to meet many new people along the way. I cherish each encounter I have and appreciate the kind words and endless support. I couldn’t do this without you! 🥹❤️

As a bride-to-be myself, I take pride in ensuring that all the details are taken care of. This was a 4-day project that allowed the steamers to set overnight in each variation. Each tag was then created by me, printed, and followed by each individual bag being handmade and tied with care. The bride-to-be and I were in constant contact to ensure she approved of each color, packaging, and tags. My sole goal was to ensure her happiness and that these party favors met her expectations.

It’s not about the number; it’s about the difference. I am happy with a class of 5 people who genuinely show up because they want to experience this class with me.
