A BEAUTIFUL SUCCESS STORY FROM ONE OF OUR PATIENTS...."On Feb. 12, 2024 I went into cardiac arrest at home. I ended up on life support in a coma for 11 days. When I woke up I had no use of my legs and was sent to a nursing home for 2 weeks of rehab. I was sent home barely using a walker.

A week later at my appointment with Tim Kellie, he sent me for physical therapy. Krista has worked miracles. She got my strength back and in a week traded my walker for a cane.

Before I knew it she had me getting off the floor which I never thought I would be able to do again. With all of her help I am almost back to my previous self. I can never thank this team enough for everything they have done for me. And Krista, thank you for believing in me." Joel Cloum. THE DO DIFFERENCE (From the American Osteopathic Association)
Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, believe there’s more to good health than the absence of pain or disease. As guardians of wellness, DOs focus on prevention by gaining a deeper understanding of your lifestyle and environment, rather than just treating your symptoms.
It makes a difference when your physician is trained to truly listen. To pay more attention to you than your chart. To look beyond the symptoms and take the time to get to know you as a whole person.
Listening to you and partnering in your care are at the heart of our holistic, empathic approach to medicine. We are trained to promote the body’s natural tendency toward health and self-healing. We practice according to the latest science and use the latest technology. But we also consider options to complement pharmaceuticals and surgery.
There are more than 100,000 DOs in the US, practicing their distinct philosophy in every medical specialty. We have additional training in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment and use this tool to help diagnose, treat and prevent illness and injury.
We are Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine and the way we practice health care is different. We don’t see patients. We see people.

Another WONDERFUL Success Story from one of our patients. “Well satisfied with my results – again.” One month ago – In both legs in the area of the knees, ankles, arches and toes I was experiencing a severe condition of swelling that occurred usually from 1 pm to bedtime causing much pain and sleepless nights. This condition also restricted my ability for exercise and social activities. Shortly after 3 to 4 treatments with Noel, I finally was experiencing some comfort and mobility with the swelling sub-siding. Now after 1 month of treatments, I am now back to my normal mode of activities with no pain and no swelling conditions. This is my second time of receiving the excellent professional and expertise of services available here and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need. I thank Noel for his excellent patient friendly relationship along with his special healing skills and knowledge and Krista – this is also a special thank you to you. It’s a great place to get help for the Monroe citizens. Noel is a good asset to this community."Howard Wellhousen. Here is a GREAT Success Story from one of our patients..."My sciatic-nerve gave me a lot of pain, to the point where I could hardly walk. The therapy I received, along with manipulation, completely took care of it. I have my life back!
I've also been treated for back pain in the past. I am currently getting therapy for my upper arm and shoulder area. I already have more range of motion.
I'm very thankful for Dr. Barbour, Noel and Krista for their outstanding care. I would highly recommend the Center for Progressive Health and Wellness." Jackie Cousino
