I’ve been away from posting on here for many reasons but I’m still creating pieces just not much as I used to. Mass production of my work really took a toll on me and I quickly realized that’s not what I wanted to do. So to answer many of your questions…no my work is no longer going into stores but you are always welcomed to contact me directly for custom orders.
My latest creation is this moon phase that I carried in my creative juices since last summer. The colors remind me of our peninsula sunsets here that are a mixture of oranges, pinks, and blues. I like to call them cotton candy skies.

Laura here. Still taking a somewhat of a hiatus. If you followed my stories a while back, we had another loss in our family. My little family and I have been going through the growing pains of life.
At this point I can’t keep up with all the “reels” that IG requires for me to keep up engagement of my followers. I haven’t posted in a while because life has called me to be present with it and honestly I’m happy and content. But due to my lack of interaction on this social media square, I’ve lost A LOT of followers. TBH the ego in me wants to do something about it and it hurts the ego BUT the spirit in me says it’s ok to let go a bit and just live life. That’s me just being real with you guys.
For those that have been following along my fabric journey and life journey, thank you for being here with me and always supporting whatever I do on my ever changing path.
I’m still creating for custom orders. Still attending selected events and pop-ups but I’m not putting a pressure to burn myself down to the ground because at the very end of all this my family needs me to be healthy mentally, physically, and spiritually.
So here I leave you with a customers pictures from a few weekends ago. I truly enjoy seeing my art work out in your homes and I’m forever thankful for you allowing my art into your space🤍✨

After two weeks of prepping for one pop-up this old lady needs a well deserved break from making/creating😅
I’ve been focusing more on smaller intentional projects and custom orders for sure and I love it.
I’ve also been settling into my new work role which is why I haven’t been as present during the weekday with this square (posting/media/marketing), I’ve been more present in life and I am so thankful that my new working role allows me to just be PRESENT in the right now. This has been a new and learning curve for me because I have so many ideas and I want to jump ahead and be two step ahead of life but that’s actually not what my path is and I’m learning that now.
So if you’re still here, THANK YOU and if you’re new here, WELCOME! Im here to share all the things of my life. Creating is an extension of my soul to you. It is my thoughts, feelings, mood, seasons of life. The concept and idea given by my client was the sun 🌞
When given such a specific task I tend to freeze up and second guess what the outcome of the piece will be.
Usually if I place the first fabric through the loom it usually sets the tone as to how this will come together.
The second picture is what set the tone 😅

I’ve been binge watching true crime and making hearts on my couch, the irony behind that 😂

Citrine and Rainbow Fluorite moons for you on this Monday morning.
These are my go to crystals during retrogrades because they are such a powerhouse together.
I was able to get my hands on a limited quantity of the 8” crescent moons. Usually I only carry the 10” & 12” but I’ve been trying to get smaller frames for more of a friendly budget pieces.
The crystals on these are not hanging in copper but are hand knotted by yours truly 🙋🏻‍♀️
These two babes are ready for their forever homes, DM to purchase.

My mom used to tell me not to give up and my dad used to tell me in Spanish “echale ganas!”which meant keep going and go full force.
So here’s my attempt in not giving up, making some valentines goodies.

It’s a little grey and gloomy today in Marina, this moon is definitely fitting the mood after the Wolf Moon. How special is it that I made this piece under the Wolf Moon!? Very. And I’ll share with you why from what I gathered the last couple of weeks.
It is a season of figuring out what you need in order to have
a successful life. A time of seeing what's missing and finding truth in what you
long for. It's about sacrifice and finding personal truth and discovering your purpose
and how it relates to the bigger picture in society as a collective.
I meditated last night, journaled, pulled my yearly cards (I know a little late but not really, lol), set my intentions on a paper and burned away what no longer served me and welcomed what I’m looking for🌝
I’m here for it and all the growth even when uncomfortable during a pandemic!
Hope you’re digging inwards and pulling out from within for that growth 🤍

Cervical Cancer Awareness month
This is what inspired my current sunrise piece.
One year ago this month I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I shared my story during that time because I knew there was going to be shift happening in my life.
Little did I know that this would motivate a handful of woman to set up their Gynecologist appointments that they had been putting off.
I had been told by my military primary doctor in 2018 that since my screenings where coming back clear that I didn’t need a pap for another 4-5 yrs. Fast forward to November 2020, I was encountering abnormalities that didn’t sit right in me. I was not going to see my doctor about it but something deep in me said there was something wrong and I couldn’t wait. By January 2021 I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Sadly the doctor that performed my hysterectomy caused an injury while closing me back up and well it was a soul awakening of what life truly is.
So, I’m here to tell you that you should get a Pap smear every year no matter what! And if there’s something off in your woman hood area do not put it off. Follow your little voice because that’s your intuition guiding and possibly saving your life like it did with me!
Life can be busy but we only get this beautiful vessel of our one time, so take care of it🤍

I started to redecorate our home back to neutral colors and organizing our families space right after the new year.
This includes all the projects that I’ve been meaning to make for our home like this hat rack! I wanted something that I could easily move around to a new space when redecorating (or move again) and something where I could display all my hats.
Maybe this will stop me from buying more hats since I made just enough space for the ones I already have 😂🤣
January is my slow down where I make home feel sacred so it helps me and the fam gear up for what’s to come!
