- Gently Lift: Carefully lift the soup bao with chopsticks or a soup spoon to avoid puncturing it. Support the bottom of the bao to keep it intact.

- Place in Spoon: Place the bao in a large soup spoon. This helps catch any soup that might escape.

- Puncture: Use a chopstick or a small bite to gently puncture the top or side of the bao to let the steam escape and prevent burns.

- Sip the Soup: Sip the soup directly from the bao or pour it into the spoon and drink it. Enjoy the flavorful broth before moving on to the dumpling.
