WHAT IS UP WITH THURSDAY LEAGUE AT EAGAN? Another first time 81 from FARMER Shawn!! An insane match to watch between The Last Brohican and Farmer Shawn. While Brohican took the match, Farmer Shawn overcame the elusive 81. Shawn has thrown over 2000 official bullseyes and almost 200 official clutches. Cheers to your first 81!

Last Saturday some of the best axe throwers around showed up in Eagan to take part in what we call a “marathon.” This is when an entire league season (traditionally 8 weeks) is completed in one day. Congrats U.B.G. for achieving the 2nd ever Premier 81 in Minnesota! ELECTRIC!

The IATF is introducing some changes to the rules, effective March 9, 2024.

1. Big Axe Clutch attempts will be limited to 3 consecutive missed attempts, in both Standard and Premier rulesets.
2. Premier Rules will introduce a Touch Clutch worth 5 points to complement the Premier Clutch worth 7 points.
3. Clutch attempts will be required every 5 throws during Round 1 of the Wilson Cup.

These rule changes were determined in consultation with the Federation members and the greater thrower community via survey. Rounds 1 and 2 of the 2024 Wilson Cup will be played under these rule amendments.

In addition, the 70+ Average path to IATC Round 1 qualification will be amended to remove the criteria for non-concurrency. This change will apply to seasons qualifying for IATC Round 1 2025.
