Today I will live in the present & find what I can to enjoy there. My pain doesn't have to overshadow the enjoyable parts of my reality.
Today can be the focus of my life. It's filled with interesting activities if I allow myself to see it in a spirit of wonder.
How many days of my life have I wasted? Preoccupied with past mistakes & future worries? Yoga teaches me I have choices.

I can't cope with something unless I acknowledge its reality. When I'm willing to look at the whole picture, I take the 1st step to peace.
Our lives will remain hard if we keep pretending half the truth is real. Yoga brings me into the present, by bringing me into my body.
Life is a package deal. It's necessary to face the good & bad parts, to stop setting ourselves up for disappointment.

When we discover that we really can make a positive contribution, our increased self-esteem replaces self-pity.
Every moment can be an opportunity to serve, and change our lives. Helping to setup the yoga class space is a great place to start.
By reaching out to help others in a healthy way, we move beyond our problems & learn to give unconditionally.
Instead of questioning what life is giving us, perhaps we might profit better by asking what we can give.

As I learned to focus on myself, I began to pay attention to my thoughts & feelings. I took the time to find out what caused my anxiety.
Procrastination was the source of a great deal of needless anxiety. With yoga I have managed to recognize and change that pattern.
