Bennies Supports Empty Bowls Dinner and Tri-Lakes Cares
The Monument Hill Kiwanis Club (https://monumenthillkiwanis.org) sponsors the Empty Bowls Dinner and Silent Auction every year in October. The event raises funds for Tri-Lakes Cares (https://tri-lakescares.org), a community-based, volunteer-supported, resource center whose purpose is to improve people’s lives through emergency, self-sufficiency and relief programs.
This one-night event raises more than $20,000 and all proceeds of the event are donated to Tri-Lakes Cares. TLC is the only food pantry and human services organization located in and serving northern El Paso County.
For the second year in a row, Bennies donated soup for the event.
We will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5. See you Tuesday!
