Had some left over fence pickets. Wife has been wanting some bird houses. 1 picket = 1 bird house. Back is extended for securing to tree or fence.

Here’s a great way to get started wood working with minimal tools.

6 years ago I made my first piece on the lathe
Sure have come a long way since then.

Still have this piece on the shelf in my shop

New Canadian Goose Call off the lathe. This one is spoken for as a Bday present for a friends son.
Double dyed stabilized Maple burl with gold plated band.

Nice little local find. Some cotton wood for making some nice bowls and a few maple logs for milling.
Always nice to save stuff from the chipper

Been a busy few months so not much shop time but made some time for this project.

Entryway table apx 12x48x30 tall
Mahogany and Hickory woods
Mortise and Tenon construction finished with a satin poly

This is being donated to a charity auction for a family friend

Here’s the finished rocking horse done just in time for xmas

Been taking scraps to make cutting boards ( usually not my thing but kinda getting into it)

Couple new ice fishing rods now that winter is officially here.
First one is Buck eye burl
Second one is H**p Wood

Almost finished with this beautiful walnut and maple rocking horse. Just a saddle and some fine finishing.

Been a while since I’ve been able to post any recent work but here is one that i really enjoyed.

Twin sized captains bed frame for our little girl (this was a personal project)
The recipient was very happy with it!

Made from beatle kill pine, mortise and tenon construction, finished with a water based poly

First project out of the new shop.
Counsel Table for my wife.
Rustic Hickory w/ Solid Walnut Top.

I have some birch and willow logs laying about.
Thinking of making some boxes like this for craft shows this summer.

So with the new shop up and running the first project out of it is special request my wife.
Heres the general idea, Ill post photos as the project progresses

New shop is all set up with a new proper workbench built.

Just sent this off to its new home.
