Yesterday was a BIG day for SCE! They competed in the Battle of the East and went 3-0 to bring home the hardware! 🏆The first two games had 10 minute halves with running clocks. At the start of the 3rd game, they put 14 minutes on the clock so Coach Gavin walked to the table to ask why. The response from the tournament director said everything about what Gavin envisioned for this team. He said, “I just like watching your guys play! They share the ball better than any team here!” This is Swish City Elite basketball and we’re not done yet!! 🏀🏀🏀

The cards were stacked against us but we still came out and showed out! After starting the tourney down a player, then losing one player to injury on Saturday, and two players to preplanned commitments for today, Swish City Elite showed up to today’s game with FIVE players to play a well coached and established Team Trezz!!! We did not go down easily and we learned a lot about who we are as a team! Very proud of my players!!

Swish City finished the day 2nd in their pool and have advanced to the Gold Bracket for tomorrow’s games! They went 1-1 and lost the 2nd game by 1 point. Awesome first day for them!! 🏀🏀🏀
