Sorry for a picture of me two days in a row but Ruthie made me. Our Indigo Summer Collection just landed and we have to shout it from the rooftops! Light and airy cotton in your favorite Cleo silhouette and your go-to beach skirt. Come celebrate the start of summer with us ☀️

Growing up the idea of owning my own shop seemed like the wildest of dreams. Our second summer is here and I still can’t believe this dream is reality. Sending a giant thank you to the best followers, customers and team a girl could ask for. Y’all show up for me daily and I am in awe at the support you show my little shop. It’s a summer dream in here and I can’t wait to see y’all ☀️

WHAT A YEAR.

Oh what a year and journey it has been, one filled with too many special moments to count. Everday I’m grateful for customers that show my little dream shop more support than I could have ever imagined, family and friends that continue to push me and a dream team that keeps this ship floating. This shop is fueled by the incredible village we are lucky enough to call our own. If you have shopped at DORSEA over the past year, thank you! If you told a friend, thank you! It’s not easy being a small business owner and your support + kindness means more than you know. Thankful beyond measure for everyone that made our first year one for the books. The best is yet to come 🧡

I woke up this morning, grabbed my coffee and headed to “work”. I spent the drive reflecting on the most perfectly imperfect year @ DORSEA. A year filled with laughter, catching up with old friends & making some incredible new ones. I’ll count my blessings twice to do what I love every day with the best customers and team a girl could ask for. Thank you for making my dream a reality & for supporting me through all the seasons!

I live down east with the best husband a girl could ask for, some really cool dogs & a flock of ducks. This tiny but mighty shop has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. My main goals with opening this business were to spread joy, do what I love and create a shopping experience that is as entertaining and as laid back as our little slice of paradise. Looking back and reflecting on one of the hardest but most rewarding years yet. Small business is hard, taking a risk is even harder. I’m not a risk taker so opening DORSEA was huge for me. I remember thinking will people come?, what will they think?, it’s not perfect I can’t open yet… since opening I’ve continued to put one foot in front of the other and when the road gets bumpy I just change my sneakers. I’m so thankful for the leaps and bounds this little shop has made, with the endless support from you 🧡 So here’s to chasing what you love in the new year, you’ve got this!

‘Tis the season. I love the summertime in our little slice of paradise but I think the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is my favorite.
