Here are some steps you can take to fight the flu: 1. Get vaccinated every year (everyone 6 months +) 2. Practice healthy habits like washing your hands, covering your coughs and sneezes, and staying home if you are sick. 3. If you have flu symptoms, call a healthcare profession and take flu antivirals if prescribed. To receive your flu vaccine, our Vaccine clinics are scheduled from Monday to Thursday, with sessions running from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Fridays, clinics will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. They will be held at the CCHD clinic located at 3820-A Bridges St., Morehead City. Appointments are required for the flu vaccine clinic so call us at 252-728-8550 and select option 3 during regular business hours.
