YES! We are here! Can’t do much else today might as well get a hair cut! All 3 chairs are up and running!

Our parking lot is being sealed so parking is a mess but we are all still here. The parking pattern will be different at least through the weekend.

There may have been some misunderstanding about scheduling but we are still open our normal schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 - 5:00 and Saturday 8:30- 12:00. Be sure to come by and welcome our new barber James. Wait times are down since we’re back to 3 barbers and we all look forward to serving you!

Good evening everyone here’s the update on our new barber James Sterling, he will be working Mondays and Tuesdays 1-5 and Thursday 9-2. This will be his schedule until August 1st. Beginning August 1st he will be working Thursday/ Friday 8:30-5 and Saturday 8:30-12.

Good evening everyone just an update on the shop’s status. I would like to thank everyone for their patience in this time of transition after the passing of Uncle Leroy. The kind words and cards have made this process a lot easier. We will be adding a new barber beginning Tuesday, his name is James Sterling. He will be working part time over the next couple weeks. He will begin a more regular schedule on August 1st. I will post a more detailed schedule for James tomorrow evening. Again I would like to thank everyone for their patience.

I’ve had many people ask about the future of Golden’s Barber Shop. I am keeping the barber shop open. It will remain Golden’s Barber Shop and we will reopen Thursday. We thank you all for your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.

It is with a heavy heart that I’m having to announce the passing of my Uncle Brady Leroy Golden. He has proudly served this community for 56 years as a barber. Currently I am sick with the Flu and Richard is still recovering from his hip replacement so the shop will be closed for a few days. When the arrangements for his service and his obituary is completed I will post it here. Please be patient as we try to mourn and recover physically. We will be back as soon as humanly possible.

Michael will not be in this afternoon due to unforeseen circumstances. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Michael will be leaving at 4:30 this week. He will return to normal schedule next week.

We will be closed Monday May 27th thru Wednesday May 29th for the Memorial Day holiday.

Richard is out for his surgery. We will post updates when they become available.

Richard has left for the day. He will be here Friday and Saturday but as his pain increases he will likely leave early Friday so get in early.

ATTENTION!
Richard has hip replacement surgery scheduled for April 23rd. He was out of work for 5 weeks with his last replacement so please keep that in mind when planning your next cut.

We will be normal schedule this week. We will be closed Easter Monday which falls on April 1st.

We are experiencing phone issues again and can’t hear anything but static.

Happy New Year Everyone! We are almost rested up and ready to come back Thursday January 4th to begin a new year. There will be a price increase this year our first in 4 years. We have tried to keep our prices as low as possible for as long as possible. Our new prices are as follows:

Haircut- $16 and up (depending on length)
Beard- $10 and up (depending on length)
Mustache- $4
Goatee- $8
Goatee w/o mustache- $5
Haircut w/ shampoo- $30

We understand how the current economy is effecting everyone so we went at the increase with that in mind. We are still cheaper than any other shop in town by $10 to $20 depending on service and shop.
