Our Rockets really showed up for Summer Sizzler!! So fun to see everyone and know that some reading and snacking will be happening!! Thanks Monongalia County Schools for a fantastic day for kids!

Relationships matter! Here is one of our bus drivers who planned a pizza party for his riders! Maverick is an amazing Monongalia County Schools bus driver but even better he is the first and last friendly face our Rockets see each day! 💙🚀

Mason-Dixon Historical Park was the PERFECT spot for our 3rd grade field trip! The weather was fabulous. The food was delicious and fun was had by all!! We will be back!!

The Carnegie Science Center is a great way for our 5th grade to spend their last adventure as Rockets!! Fun and learning made for the best day!! 💙🚀

Our 4th grade really enjoyed going underground at Laurel Caverns. They even got to pan for gems. You could say they DUG their field trip!! 🤣

Our second grade had a WILD time at Hovatter's Wildlife Zoo. Thanks to our Skyview Elementary PTO - WV every student got a full amount of food to feed the animals. You can bet that giraffe was happy!!

Our first grade rolled into Fairmont to visit Retro Skate and had a rocking time! So much fun!!

Our Kindergarten had a BALL bowling!!! Our Rockets were praised for being the best group at the lanes!! 💙🚀

We had a week of wonderful field trips….all supported by our Skyview Elementary PTO - WV!! Every student had a free trip to explore! Check out our pics!!! 💙💙🚀🚀

Girls on the Run 5k was so fun. We are so proud of our Rockets!

We wrapped up our awesome staff appreciation week with a BBQ, Pizza Al’s, and Panera breakfast. Thanks to our PTO and our Skyview Families for loving us so much all this year but extra hard this week!! 💙🚀

Fridays are for staying afloat!! We love our Rocket Family!!

Thanks to the Meadows family for the delicious cookie trays and the sweet note. It has been a joy watching Zach grow!! Where has the time gone?!? 💙🚀

Miss Meghan sure is having fun with the umbrellas that our Skyview Elementary PTO - WV gave to everyone on the staff. Car rider duty will be much better now!! We love our Rocket family!!!💙🚀

Thanks to Girl Scout Troop 10256 and friends and family for planting beautiful flowers at school! We love it so much!!!💙🚀

Our PTO has been honoring our staff with lunch each day! Of course we had to do Taco Tuesday and Wednesday was a delicious baked potato bar, salad, and amazing desserts!! Thanks Texas Roadhouse for the potatoes and those yummy rolls!!

Thanks Chestnut Ridge Church for thinking of our teachers today! Everyone loved the cookies!! 💙

We love when WVU Rowing comes to read! Mrs. McCabe’s class had lots of questions for the athletes!

Skyview LOVES our Rocket family. Our PTO has a week of special treats planned! Today, we had charcuterie boxes and delicious homemade desserts. 💙🚀

We were honored to prepare dinner for the residents of Rosenbaum Family House tonight. The best part was sitting and visiting with the families! So thankful our community has such a wonderful place. 💙🚀

Our K-2 paraded to some music to visit our students doing the WVGSA!! High fives and fist bumps greeted our Rockets to wish them luck!! Let’s soar!!!💙🚀

What a great night at Monongalia County Schools All County Choir performance! Our students did an amazing job! We are so glad the arts are celebrated by our district and community!

Mrs. Hoffman and her class got a big surprise today from their friend Joe and his Dad. They created Hoffasaurus Rex figures on their 3D printer!!
