Saturday night at the rodeo. But what don’t you see? You should see the lights of town behind the chutes, but it’s so smokey, you can barely even see across the street. Prayers for all those east of us in the Cheney area and those that have suffered loss to this fire.

Well, I hate to do this, but the more I try, the more it looks like I am going to have to start a new page because I’m not able to change the name of Triple S Nails over to the new Red Heifer. I will be doing a special drawing on Wednesday 8/23/23 for everyone that likes and follows the new page The Red Heifer page. Thankfully our VIP group has not been affected💚 Thank you so much for all of the support and I can’t wait to see what the future holds💚

My hometown rodeo is next week. And it always makes me think back to simpler times before. Times of waking up to clean stalls, getting ready to show our animals, playing with the other fair and rodeo kids, the fair food… and now I’m hungry for corn on the cob just dripping with melted butter🌽.

You’ll still find me out and about all over the rodeo and fair grounds next week, just in a bit different season of life. I’ll still have to go and see all the animals, watch the kids show, maybe get some corn😉.

Through this journey down memory lane, I am trying to figure out my role in how to keep this lifestyle alive for the future generations that want to know of and fondly remember a simpler time in their youth. That being said, know that the next two weeks are going to have a little bit different content here. I’ll be showcasing some history, some kids, some adults, and some of that simpler lifestyle.

Little bit of motivation for your Monday. We can do this! Buckle down and focus (talking to myself on that one) and change the to-do list into the to-done list. I need to clean up my office, get orders mailed out, and get my eyes checked. What’s on your to-do list today?

To finish out the women’s retreat yesterday, I had a co-pilot. is quite the bossy shoulder-side driver🤣 He did strut his stuff each time we passed a herd of “the girls”, but I had to remind him that he’s just a steer and they wouldn’t pay to much mind to him. Thanks again for the adventure and shenanigans! Where do you think we should go next time?

Welcome back to where Hamish shenaniganizes. Is that a word? It is now😉. Yesterday was an interesting day, and maybe someday I can tell you about it, but for now, we’ll skip to the good part. The relaxation, new friends, and a great dinner before getting to bed to get ready to get down to business today. Let’s do this!!

In case you missed it, I have changed from Triple S Nails to 🌵The Red Heifer🌵! (Yep, still working on the page name cause… argh! So make sure you are a member of our VIP group so you don’t miss anything.)
There are some changes coming to Dusti Rhoads this month, which will bring little changes around our community (maybe some deals😉). In the future will include even MORE Western style ball caps, bags, and Wild Rags along with some brand new items and a new product that you may not have seen before. But don't worry, our awesome nail strips aren't going anywhere! However, I will be carrying less on hand product, so we will need to plan just a bit further ahead for your special occasions.
Why the changes? Well, honestly, change is inevitable, but good. I will be going back to school the end of August. That along with helping you and working part time out of the house, I wanted to make sure that I could still serve you to the best of my ability. Let me know if you have any questions. 😁
