Rugged Ministries

A BIG thank you to some amazing people (Scott & Melinda Gericke) for their donation of two bikes to Rugged! We were able to bless a young man with one this weekend so he is able to make it back & forth to work🤍 We also made sure he had a good quality bike lock so he doesn’t have to worry about it being stolen like his other bikes in the past! I prayed over this bike before I dropped it off & I ask that you all say a prayer for the young man who received it! We give God all the glory this morning because so many would overlook this small act but to him it’s a HUGE blessing!!

Come out and fellowship with us next Saturday as Rugged Ministries does their first community clean up! We will have ministry shirts for our volunteers so if you plan to attend please reach out to reserve one as we have limited availability😊 We can’t wait to how God will use each and every person!

We are in the process of organizing a food drive to fill all of the blessing boxes around the city of Mount Airy. What we need before we can set a date or make the flyers is :

-Volunteers to help fill the blessing boxes
-Businesses/Residences who can set up donation boxes
-A list of needs from local ministries who run food pantries

🚨PRAISE REPORT🚨

How good is our God? We transported Brandon on January 1st to BBOM. He was tired, he was homeless, he was broken. BUT GOD! Brandon told us this morning about 3 weeks ago he laid it all down and took our Lord as his Savior🤍 He’s over a month sober!!! We can’t wait to see what God is going to do in this young man’s life! We would like to thank all the staff, Bishop Jeff and Pastor Tracie Dowell for everything they do not only for the people who come into their ministry but for what they do for our ministry✝️

We are so thankful for what God has blessed us with in this ministry! We’ve been receiving some calls about a homeless gentlemen in the Pinnacle area. We want to build him an on the go bag. Feel free to donate monetarily through our CashApp $RuggedMinistries but we are looking more along the lines of donating the following items:

A Blanket
Washcloth
Bars of Soap
Toothbrush/Toothpaste

Our first client called with an update today. She will be receiving her 30 day chip in 2 days!!! Praise the Lord for restoring her mind and placing her in a place where she can build not only herself but her relationship with Him🙌🏽✝️

Prayers as we transport another client today🤍 He’s anxious but ready! Prayers to lift anxiety and fear. To hear him already eager to begin a relationship with God and some of his testimony we just know God is going to use him to do something amazing! As we say this journey is never easy but when God has His hands over the situation we have faith that he will be victorious in the end ✝️

If everyone would keep us in prayer this morning as we transport a client to a treatment facility🤍 We ask for traveling mercies and a hedge of protection around us as it’s an 8 hour round trip. Pray this is a step to a new beginning for her! The Spirit is definitely present this morning!!!

Please be in prayer today as two souls are taking that step forward and seeking treatment! We are asking God to continue to give them a sound mind and that everything works out the way He wants it to, pray for E & T to know that they are covered and can achieve the impossible with their Heavenly Father guiding them🤍 This is such a huge blessing especially right at the holidays! Can’t wait to hear the testimonies that come from this!

We have been able to book a room at a local motel for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We also have had some people come to us offering their services such as cooking a meal or donating supplies for when they go back to their camping area. Continue to keep them in prayer as we are using this opportunity to show them the love of God and how He can do all things even when it feels like He isn’t there🤍 can’t wait for the testimony this couple will give one day!

Now we’re making sure they have what they need for when they go back to where they’ve been camping. God has been holding this couple and I’m believing this is just the beginning of a new life for them✝️ Please continue to pray for them, Rugged Ministries and us as a family because Gods moving and the enemy is going to try and steal this joy.

We’ve had someone reach out with an unspoken prayer request for their family. We’re gonna call them M❤️ They are asking for anyone who has it in their heart to be praying deeply and wants everyone to know it would be greatly appreciated! The Lord knows all and I’m believing that He will touch this family and wrap His arms around them!
