It's the season of great music for our Uplift Communities! This week, we're highlighting the charming town of Mount Airy in Surry County, NC, as it hosts the 52nd Annual Bluegrass & Old-Time Fiddlers Convention! 🎶🏞️ Mark your calendars for June 7-8, 2024, and join in at Veterans Memorial Park for a weekend brimming with the rich sounds of old-time and bluegrass music echoing through the Blue Ridge Mountains.

🎤 Enjoy performances from local, national, and international musicians dedicated to preserving the old-time music tradition born in Surry County.
🎻 Participate in or watch exciting solo and band competitions with cash prizes!
🎸 Engage in jam sessions, dancing, singing, and educational workshops throughout the week.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family-Friendly: This event offers fun and entertainment for all ages, making it a perfect family outing.

📚 Free Workshops: From June 4-7, take advantage of free workshops in fiddle, banjo, vocals, guitar, jams, dance, and more, hosted by the Surry Arts Council and Veterans Memorial Park, Inc.

Beer and Wine from Thirsty Souls Community Brewing and hot dogs, chips, and candy from the Dairy Center are sold at selected events. No coolers or smoking are allowed.
