These three drivers are ready to hit the track and bring their passion, skill, and competitive spirit to the Mazda MX-5 Cup! We’re thrilled to have Tyler back for VIR, after our unfortunate absence from CTMP due to refreshing the cars for this event. It is Chuck, and Zach’s first race in the Mx5 Cup, and they are very excited to show what they can do. Chuck has won SCCA Super Tour championship in spec miata, along with a whole host of other accolades and successes, Zach has raced karts domestically and internationally along with spec miata, and GR CUP. Both of these guys have experience with the Mx5 platform and are looking to adapt and translate that experience to success in Mx5 Cup.

That’s a wrap for Sebring. A wild, challenging, and triumphant weekend for the team. Qualifying started off with a broken power plant frame which caused the differential to punch a hole through the fuel tank, despite this qualified in P2 only 0.091 of a second off pole. The fuel tank situation showed the hard work of the team, getting it replaced before Race 1. Race 1 was a dominant race by Tyler as he led the most laps at his home track to take the win! As everyone says at Sebring “Respect the bumps”, but unfortunately the bumps didn’t respect us in Race 2, causing a battery terminal connection to come loose costing us a strong result and valuable points. That being said there are many positives to take away from this race and we’re looking foreword to in may. We are also super proud of .delong.racing for the pace that he showed this weekend and his development as a driver (keep your eye on him).

A massive Thank You to our partners at Romanoff Industries, and Wise Air/Wise Snow. We would like to thank everyone .performance, for helping us find a replacement fuel tank, , and for putting on an incredible show as always, for filming some incredible video content, and for all the incredible photos you see here, and finally a massive thank you to our crew which put in some long hours to make everything come together this week and showed some true grit.

What an incredible way to start the 2024 season. With a strong with a podium here at with our start driver, . Tyler put on a grand show this weekend starting P14 in Race 1 and securing a P2 for the team, and a Race 2 start of P15 and finishing P2 on the road with an unfortunate 10 second time penalty added because of a small incident on the third lap, giving us a P8 finish. Overall a really competitive weekend for us and Tyler here at Daytona showing the car upfront. We’re all looking forward to Sebring in March.
