This is what we consider our stock 575 rebuild. The extra 100+ hp is just a bonus. We make a few well placed mods and the 575s really respond. This engine still has the stock 4" pulley that it left Mercury with. The only difference is that the blower has been stripped. Its 509 ci, bump in compression, our 575 hyd roller camshaft, our fuel injection upgrade kit, and a new fuel system (Weldon 1100a fuel pump, larger filter head, etc) These are the only mods we've made to it. It only makes 3.5 ish psi of boost. A change to a 3.5" blower pulley takes them to 710-720 hp. This one made 681 hp @ 5800 rpm and 665 ft lbs @ 4500 rpm. It was dynoed 100% as it goes in the boat.

Finally got the dyno fixed and was able to wrap up the Merc 900sc's. They did as expected with the changes we made. 995 hp, 960 ft lbs with 7.8 psi boost.
