3 weeks into the Kroc Men's league season, we moved to 3-0 with a win over a few college players.

Woodbury advances to the Group 1 State Championship game 3/4/2023 Versus Newark Tech at Rutgers University. With Jabron Solomon (0 points 3 fouls in the first half) and Jusuan Solomon (2 fouls) missing most of the first half in foul trouble Brian Johnson led the charge Hitting 5 of 6 3's scoring 18 of Woodbury's 27 first half points. Woodbury went into halftime with a 27-23 lead. Brian opened the 2nd half with a 3 while Jabron Solomon took control of the 3rd quarter, finishing with 14 2nd half points. Jabron got the party started, and CJ Miller closed the door with a coast to coast bucket that egnited tge crowd snd Woodbury's players. Cj followed his drive with a dunk that led to Eagle Academy players to begin panicking, which led to an intentional foul followed by a Tech, which pushed Woodbury to the State Championship game two days after winning the SJ Group 1 Sectional title. Less than 3 months after leading Woodbury to NJ's first Group 1 State football championship (Prior years team competed for Section titles only in football). QB Brian Johnson and WR Jabron Solomon hooked up for a TD like full court play to help make Woodbury the first public school to play in both a Football and Basketball State Championship in 1 season. Look for these athletes to also compete for a state track and field championship as well!

Tyler is about to play in the OTE championship and then off to make a lucky college coach dream of landing him a reality. Every day is truly a blessing!

League Bound Academy picks up win #8 on the season over The Patrick School (Post-Grad) team 104-67. LBA's Najii Reed (23 PG) led all scorers with 35 points. 14 year old Freshman PG Torrey Brooks Jr. 14 points 8 Assist hit 4 3's, and Malcolm Manley (2024 PF/C) had a season high 14 Points 15 Rebs and 4 blocks.
