Recently this Youth Leader, who is also a police officer, was awarded the "Life Saving Award" by her police department for helping saving a human life by her quick thinking and heroic actions. JOB WELL DONE!!!

Well WE also want to acknowledge and appreciate her for her dedication and commitment to Unity Church Youth Ministry. Her willingness to help when needed and heart to serve, even behind the scene....doesn't go unnoticed. We appreciate your humility to do....and your heart to do it well. THANK YOU SIS. TUGG!!!!

This Unity Youth needs no introduction. He is the older son of Pastor and Lady Bratton, but he can stand on his own in who he is as a young person. "Tripp" has a kind and caring soul. He is thoughtful and helpful, smart and witty, fun and funny. He loves to learn and eager to share what he's learned. Tripp is also active in school, in sports and in ministry. Keep Growing!

Bro. Jerrius maintained ALL A's this fall and finished the Fall Semester with a PERFECT 4.0 GPA!! (Yesssssss) He is officially now a JUNIOR at Wiley University. We are soooooo proud of you Sir!! Keep shining your light.....WE SEE YOU!!! 💡

to band members Bro. Jamaree and Sis. Natalie. Mt Pleasant's Goin’ Gold Band finished their 2023 competition season with two (2) championships and their highest placement at area in over 30 years. Awesome job Jamaree and Natalie! 🥁🥁

to cheerleaders Sis. Alexa and Sis. Natalie. MPHS Cheerleaders started the season placing 2nd and qualifying them for the NCA Nationals in Florida. Way to go Alexa and Natalie! 📣🤸🏼‍♀️

to football player Bro. Cade Monroe, a Senior at Mt. Vernon High School. This week, Cade received his 1st Official College Football offer. LoneStar Preps Texas officially ranked Cade Monroe as one of the Top Outside Linebackers of 2024. Keep it up Cade!!! 🏈

to Sis. Ke'Aundra Evans who is a Junior at MPHS and a High School Scholar. Sis Ke'Aundra continues to excel Academically and because of her Outstanding Character and Achievements, she has been elected into the National Technical Honors Society at Mt. Pleasant High School. Sis. Gabbie just celebrated a new chapter in life and we celebrate her!! She works so quietly yet effectively as part of our Unity Youth Ministry Team and she serves as our Unity Praise Dance Leader!! Sis Gabbie is usually the first to ask what can I do and what do you need. She shares her ideas, she volunteers her time, she contributes her efforts; and what her caring heart thinks to do, her hands follows through. Serving and Support is not always loud...somethings it's just as soft spoken as Sis. Gabbie.
