Sun Rayz family, today is bittersweet for us. It would have been Papa's 75th birthday! 132 days without him and it feels like a lifetime. We would normally be calling and seeing where we would go eat to celebrate and then have a complete celebration with the whole family on the weekend enjoying a German chocolate cake or his daughter's strawberry pretzel salad that he so loved. Instead of receiving amazing hugs and sloppy kisses we are left here to celebrate his special day without him. We just wanted to honor him today. He had such a huge part in getting the salon started and was our biggest cheerleader! He worked so hard and tirelessly to find panels and breakers that we needed and stayed with us all the way from the ground up to the walls being up to coming and hanging out daily to meet and greet all of you! He so enjoyed meeting everyone and was so happy when he saw people coming in and talking to all of you. I know he didn't feel good most days but he came anyway just to support us. So Papa..we love you and miss you so so much. Your table by your parking spot will always be filled with fresh flowers and remembrance of you. The candle you always blew out on the edge of your leaning spot on the counter will always be lit to remind us that you are always with us and the love you brought to us and those around you. You taught us that no one is a stranger, everyone who walks in is a friend. Even though we are lost without you, we know that being at home with our Savior is the best birthday you could ever have. You are receiving your endless rewards for your good works here. I can't imagine how many crowns you have earned. We love you and miss you and can't wait to celebrate with you again one day 💗
