SPRING BREAK 2022: GETAWAY TIPS
There are certain people you should tell when youโre going on vacation, and others you shouldnโt. Ask a trusted neighbor to keep an eye on your home while you are gone and to report any suspicious or criminal activity to the police department. You can also ask them to pick up your newspaper or any other deliveries while you are gone. Otherwise, you should refrain from posting your vacation plans on social media or needlessly alerting anyone that you will be gone.
To make your home look lived in while you are away we recommend installing dusk-to-dawn or motion sensor lights on all outdoor lights. You can also use automatic timers on a radio and lamps. And always remember to lock all outside doors using quality deadbolt locks and shut and lock your windows and your garage door.
