Excel Driving School offers students the opportunity to meet the State of Illinois Driver Education requirements on a schedule that fits their needs.
Today, students under 18 are required to hold their permit for 9 months prior to obtaining their license; Excel Driving School offers courses every two weeks to provide students the flexibility needed for them to obtain their license on their birthday. Our 30 Hours of Classroom Instruction are offered in Four, Eight, and Fifteen Week sessions for your convenience. Students are required to earn pas

Imagine that your outside enjoying the nice day -- it's warm in the sun, and there's a cool breeze. You take a sip of water but stop when a car flies by you at 80 mph. You move out of the way in time, but it only missed you by a hair.
This week is National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW,) which is an annual spring campaign held at the start of construction season. The key message of this campaign is to encourage safe driving through highway work zones. Seriously, slow down when you see construction coming up.
